Talia's Boo Boo!

Today I was in my office working and hear Talia crying.Now it was not your normal cry it was the I'm hurt and Jessica and Kaelyn did it. So I went in to the other room and she was flat on her back and Jessica and Kaelyn where looking over her with faces of guilt.

The picture I put up is of Talia and her war wounds and the two suspect's Jessica and Kaelyn....

We were going to go get family picture's taken but that went out the door....I guess we have to wait for the wounds to heal.

Jake's Trip to Texas

I know I have wrote in previous posts about Jake going to see his cousin Misty in Texas. I am putting up a few of his trip. The one picture is of Jake and Misty, this was at the hospital before he left. He was in the elevator and he realized that he did not get a picture with her so he ran back and did the self portrait shots....

This other picture is of Jake and his Grandfather "Speed" He wanted his head shaved to look like Jakes. He is making his mean face...Watch out he is a tough guy!

Jake really appreciated the time he had to spend with his family. They are an amazing bunch to be around...

We Pray for our Misty to get better.

Tired

I am so darn tired today. I almost fell asleep taking my test at school today. I can just see the teacher's face if I would of started to snore. I have never been so tired before in my life. Between school kids and home I have been sleeping less. I have told a few people this but my kids don't sleep. They will get up at least 2 to 3 times a night. Have you ever been woken up from a deep sleep then have to try and go back to sleep then get woken up again. It is horrible I tell you. Unlike Jake who can sleep thru anything and fall asleep standing up, I have to try and relax and fall asleep again.

I put a pick up of Jake where he has fallen asleep. Don't tell him I put this up because he will probally kill me for this.

All I know is that I will be sleeping in tomorrow.

Hope part II

So I took it upon myself and called Cancer Treatment Center's of America and the where so nice. I talked to a guy there Patrick Brown and he gave me Hope. He said that there is ways to get her the care she needs and he will help me find it. He is going to have Misty call in so they can talk. Since there is no insurance it has made it hard for her and her family.

He game me some numbers for facilitites that provide care for people without insurance. He was amazing to talk to. I have my husband out in Texas to get things rolling for her. I have faith that Heavenly father will come thru for her.

Hope

Your know I remember a Relief Society lesson on Hope...It was taught by sister Bitter. It was really amazing. There is hope out there I know it. My husbands cousin Misty was diagnosed with stomach cancer and they sent her home to die. 3 days ago they said that she was fine and to continue with chemo....The fact that she has no insurance does not help. It makes me wonder if these people are doing nothing for her due to the no insurance. Have a heart really people!

I have been emailing and calling places for a miracle. I emailed Oprah, Kroq (Bean said that too many people email them about stuff like this and they can't ....thanks for nothing KROQ) KIIS FM, 94.5 TH BUZZ....I'm HOPING for a miracle and I know that they do exist.....

If anyone has an suggestions I would love to hear them....I am about to plan a car wash to do this. I would participate for other's let's hope other's have the same heart that I do...

I am very proud of Misty she is amazing and a fighter!

I thnk I'm crazy

Well last week was my first full week of school and it kicked my butt. Winter session is crazy busy. My first night of homework was 500 problems then the next night was 300. The messed up party is I go to school from 8-11 (in reality 6-11:30 because of dropping off kids) then homework till 5:30 and back to school from 6pm to 9pm. I knew it was going to be hard but wow. Thank goodness Jake is amazing at math because I would fail it. Math is the one subject I hate the most and I have 1 more semester of it.

This week will be even worse I have a test Mon Wed and Fri and homework due every test day. Sheesh.

Wish me luck, I know I will need it. Still determined to be an RN!

BIG BEAR

This last week we were able to go to Big Bear for a few days; Jake and I had it all planned out, we were going to have so much fun. We were going to go snow boarding, tubing and hang out with our friends. Well lets just say our picture of the perfect vacation did not turn out that way. Jake got sick (we think food poisoning from Carl's Jr. $6 dollar burger) he was in bed for a whole day with what the girls and I call the Cha Cha Cha's lol. Then Kaelyn ended up with a UTI and is on antibiotics and was puking then Jessica ended up with a stomach upset that ended with puking. I had to say a prayer after this crazy day and ask the Lord to keep me healthy.

We did get to go sledding and Jake went night boarding. We did get to also go shopping a bit in town which was really nice, the shops there are neat to walk thru. Of course on our last day at the cabin Jake and the girls had a snow ball fight with me.


Thank goodness we have understanding friends that were really nice about everything, we felt so bad. We did not want anyone to get sick.
Jake and I are going to plan another trip to the mountain to get our snowboarding on. We hope everyone had a Happy New Year.
