Having some fun

Jake and I were goofing around the other day about going to the gym and how we never have time to go the gym. So I made it easy, I told Jake to just bench me. The girls thought is was great seeing daddy push their mom up and down. Then I thought it would be fun for me to do the same to Jake, well I can't bench 230olbs so we worked it out to where Jake is partially laying on the edge of the couch so it looks like I'm holding him up...hahaha

It's only been 6 years!

Yes, the rumors are true, I went to the Temple on Saturday. I haven't been there in 6 years and that is when Jake and I got sealed and I went thru for my endowments. That was a crazy, hard, long day. I did'nt go back due to my experience :(....James Snow was going through and he asked if I could go. I have my personal problems that I had to work thru but with counsel I was able to go. It was a great experience, our friends the Baldree's came and I have to say it was wonderful having them there with us. So will it be another 6 years till I go again...we will all just have to see!

Happy 5th Birthday Kaelyn

She's the big 5! This little girl knows what she wants. I asked to spend the day with me and we would do what ever she wanted. Our day started at the Habit for some late lunch. Next we were off to the Disney store so she could pick our a present. Our day led to a pedicure, she got black and white zebra. After that we went back to my moms and got ready to head to Buca di Beppo.
Our friends Melinda and Bella joined us along with Grandma.

Cars 2

The Baldree's joined us for some fun in Hollywood a couple of weeks ago. Car 2 just came out and the El Capitan had an additional attraction after the movie. This was a real treat not only for the kids but the adults as well.

I love my family and love doing these fun little outtings with other families.

Lake Mead 2011

What a fun trip! This fourth of July trip we went back to Lake Mead, yes we were worried because the last time we went we had a few bumps in the road but we were determined to make it great. The Evans, Balls, and Andersons all went so we had a total of 16 kiddos with us. I loved every mintue!

We did a ton of boating, and we tried to get all the kids to ski. Jessica was able to get up and Kaelyn tried but I don't think she was ready. The kids loved the tube, I have to say I was jumpy and paranoid (I'm like my mother).


Here are the girls on our venture to the strip. Such a great time with these girls, we had great conversation and we were all able to get to know eachother better.

Goofy's kitchen with the girls

Girls night out with our mini me's was so a great night. The girls were so excited to see the characters and eat what ever they wanted. The boys stayed home with the dads while the mom's and grandma's got an evening of entertainment, food, dancing and fireworks.

Wish these mom's lived closer to us so we can do more of these fun outings.

Carpenteria 2011

I think I look forward to this time every year. Caming in Carpenteria with family and friends. It is not the camping I did when I was a kid, this is the Milhoan/Vincent camping trip. We don't eat hambergers and hot dogs...It's crazy fun with awesome food and fun memories being made. When I first went on this camping trip 9 years ago I was scared, I didn't know what to expect. I have to say I get all excited when June/August comes around and family comes into town. Now being a mom, every year is more exciting as my children get older.

Father's Day 2011

The kids and I made a shirt for Jake that said "Worlds Best Dad." I had them put their hand prints on it but baby Jake made a foot imprint due to the difficulties of getting him to hold his hand open.

We spent the day over at Jake's parents house and the kids got to play with their cousins and run a muck!

Jake is an AMAZING father and loves his kiddos so much. I'm grateful everyday for having him in my life.

Knott's Berry Farn 2011

I haven't been to Knott's Berry Farm in such a long time but this was a fun trip with Jake's family. The Vincent family was in town for the annual beach trip and most of the time we all do some fun things right before we head to the camp grounds. This year we got to go to Knott's.

The kids had a blast! We did have a bumpy start with Talia shutting down a ride due to puking on it.. Yes, my daughter was the girl that shut down the balloon ride :) I was grateful that she got better and was able to enjoy the rest of the fun with us.
