LA Temple

A visit to the temple....
Today the kids and I joined Nicole and her crew to the Los Angeles Temple....It has been a while since I have been there and I forgot about how much I love it there. The temple grounds are so pretty and you can get great picture's.

The kids were trying to blend in!

The last time Jessica was at the temple in this same spot was when she was sealed to Jake and I

Our crazy kids being goofy.

This is all of us! A nice missionary took this for us.

What a splash!

Kaelyn's party as today and it was really fun. She was so happy she smiled everytime some someone showed up. Thanks to the Ball family, we got to have fun in their pool and cool off. I am so thankful for such great friends and family, everyone made my little girls day.

Jessica showing daddy how she can swim....

Our little birthday girl with Natalia and McKennaTalia didn't want to get her finger's dirty, so she used a candle to eat the frosting

Issac passing Kaelyn to Jake,we call this midget tossing.

Hailey and Jessica chillin in the pool

Kaelyn is 3 today!

July 21, 2006

Today three years ago I was blessed with Kaelyn Diane Milhoan, a 6 pound 10 oz baby with red hair. She was born at Henry Mayo Memorial Hospital here in the SCV.

She is just the cutest little girl, she loves to laugh and smile and change her clothes about 100 times a day. She loves to help me with what ever I do and has the cutest language.

Today was her special day and I tried to do what she wanted to do. First we went to the mall and got milkshakes and then some shopping at the oh so famous Disney store. I told her to pick something she wanted and she was not shy, she grabbed as much and she could like she was being timed.
Then off to Red Robin for some yummy food. The servers sang her Happy Birthday and she got her very own sundae.Daddy got home early and we decided to go see the movie Harry Potter. Kaelyn loved the popcorn and lost her shoe a lot during the movie. From the picture I think she was sick of taking pictures...haha you will have me taking pictures of you for a VERY long time :) She loves her daddy!

To end this very special day, Grandma and Grandpa came over with yummy ice cream.

The way Kaelyn pronounces some words:

Jessica : Jea e ka

Heavenly father: Harry Potter

Grandma: Gama

Grandpa: Gampa

Her favorite place is Disneyland, watches Sleeping Beauty over and over again like it is a brand new movie, and loves to play dress up. Happy Birthday pretty girl!

A visit to see Hailey and Brianna

Jessica was all scrubbed up and ready to meet Hailey and Brianna

Little Miss Brianna looking up at her daddy!

Jessica and Uncle Issac looking in. This is the only picture were she is not pressing her face against the window :)

Jessica and I took a ride down to the hospital to see Hailey and Brianna and get some picture's. Jessica and I scrubbed up and put our gowns on to go into the nursery. Unfortunatly Jessica could not go in because she was not a sibbling but she was able to see the girls thru the window. I got to hold Brianna and it made my day, she is so tiny and like Issac said the blanket weighed more than her. It was really neat to see how they would look at Issac when he talked to them. I even got a smile (if they tell you it was just gas don't believe them), and it was an Issac smile. What is it with all the Milhoan's babies looking like their dad's? Us mom's baked them, don't we get something out of it?
Hailey was very responsive to my voice, when I said her name she looked right at me.

We can't wait for these little cuties to come home!

Hollywood Wax Museum

The Hollywood Wax Museum!
The whole gang is here hanging with Rambo!

I think he moved...I don't remember him looking down...yikes!
Hey it's Arnold!

Love this munchkin.....

My favorite exibit....The last super.

Little super star's!

The Hollywood Wax Museum was our adventure we had today. My friend Nicole and I took the kids down to Hollywood to check this place out. It is so neat to see all the stars and how they look so real. There were some that I was not impressed with but the kids seemed to really like it. Jessica and Kaelyn were not sure about the exibit but chilled out a bit after we let them touch some of the statues to show them it was ALL GOOD!

My girls!

My girls are the most wonderful thing that has ever happened to me besides my husband. They crack me up with the funny things they do. I think they really have a great way to put a smile on my face.

Decor for Kaeyln's party

This year Kaelyn wanted and Ariel party so I started doing some of the Little Mermaid character's for her party. I have already Ariel but I decided to do Ursela and Flounder to add to the collection. It didn't take to long but they look great and I think the kids will love seeing them.

Jake helped me finish Ursela! Jessica is hiding behind Flounder!

Movies,Library,Mystery shop

We had a sort of busy day! This morning I started doing my neices laundry to help out a bit, Lisa is still in recovery so we are trying to make life a little easier for her. After I started that I took the girls to see Madagascar 2 at the Edwards Cinema. The kids loved it, Talia was not in a good mood so I walked the hallway with her. I was a little pooped from all the fun so we went home for a nap and more laundry. It seems like I do laundry everyday now. I think my girls have been putting clothes on and throwing them in the pile of dirty clothes.

I took the girls later on to get their very own library cards and I signed them up for the summer reading program. We were able to pick so good books out to read tonight and they can mark off their boxes. The local library gives out prizes for their reading completions. I thought the girls would have fun with that since we read to them every night.

Daddy got off early tonight and he met us over at El Torito for some free dinner. Yes I said it free dinner. I signed up to do a secret shopper so we got to eat for free and I got to play the private investigator for a company. It was fun the girls were super bouncey and Jake and I were not haha.
