My little cook

Talia loves chicken nuggets and Mac n cheese...and that is it! I can never get her to eat other things. I decided to try something new to see if I can break this constant battle at dinner time. As I was preparing dinner a couple of days ago I noticed Talia wanted to help so I let her help me cut stuff up and stir. When I was going to serve the meal to the family Talia said "mommy where's my food, put some on my plate." I was shocked she wanted the food we made together. This has been a blessing for me because I get to spend some one on one time with her and she is eating dinner with us without a fight.

Venting

Lately I have been so busy with a new baby, school, 3 daughters, husband and daily life. So I know what hard work and busy mean. My parents raised me to do more and when I think I'm doing more it's not enough, there is always more. I'm very grateful for that! I thank them for teaching me hard work and to always be better. I have noticed others around me that in my book don't know what it is to work hard. Jake and I work hard and we don't have things handed to us, we work for everything we have. We plan for the future and not for right now. I get VERY irritated when I see people get handed things that don't work for it, you could say it is my pet peeve. I laugh when kids at school say ahh I failed the test and I know they have no job and are taking two classes and have no kids or husband to worry about, they usually say they got a bad grade because they had no time...Really, I'll show you lack of time, come live in my life for a week.

I have had this in my mind for weeks now and just feel that I wanted to add it to my blog and when my kids get older I hope that I teach them the same as my parents did. I want them to succeed and not settle for less in life. I know everyone of my kids have the potential to be wonderful people and I will not let them settle for less in life. Granted I know it can't always go the way I want it to but I will surely push them to do more in life and not be lazy.

Family picture with the Milhoan family

My little family! I was not going to take the picture due to having baby weight on but I figured it would be nice to look back on.
Here are the grand babies...the boys are out numbered!

I love how all of the kids are with different parents, I guess Joe has kids now too hahaha

Every year my mother inlaw and father in law love getting the family together for pictures. It is neat to look back at the pictures and see how the family has changed in looks and in number. This year we have baby Jake, Clayton and Justin to add the the family pictures.

Baby Jake

Jessica is our little photographer and is constantly taking his picture. Daddy was not happy about the baby being in a pink chair haha

Baby Jake is getting bigger and bigger by the day :(...We are having so much fun with this little guy. He loves smiling and being rocked by anyone that will give him the attention. Jessica is like a little mommy and is constantly trying to hold him. The other two girls are not as interested in it yet, they occasionally come by him and kiss him.
