Baby Jacob is here

Baby Jacob has finally arrived! I was not feeling to well on Tuesday and I went to see my doctor and he felt that my body could not handle the pregnancy any more so he had me admitted to Henry Mayo at 5pm to be induced. I was nervous because I have never been induced before so I did not know what to expect. Jake and I had my mom and dad get the kids and we did some last minute stuff at the house and went to dinner before going to the hospital. When I got the hospital I was greeted by great nurses and they made it so easy for me to be there. Dr. Navi came in and gave me cervadil to try and get me to start dialating. I didn't start contracting till 11 hours later and I only dialated to 2. So they gave me pitocin and that worked great, I was at 5cm and I got the epidural and 30mins later I was 10cm and ready to push. It took 3 pushes and baby Jacob was here. He was 8lbs 21 1/2 inches long.
Poor boys, you have no idea how out numbered you are :)
My little cuties...Gotta love Kaelyn's face~ .
10mins old and with his proud daddy.

Holy Big Christmas Tree Jake

I sent Jake to get a Christmas tree for the house with the girls and he came home with a 9 foot tree. He is so funny! Thank goodness for our high ceilings because there is no way it would of fit. The girls were so excited to decorate this monster.
Jake says "Go big or go home!" love my husband

Thanksgiving Day celebration at Kaelyns school

At Kaelyns' preschool she had a Thanksgiving Day party and the parents were invited to come and see what they have learned. Kaelyn got to be an indian and she showed us how she played the drum, planted corn and met the Pilgrims. She is so adorable and she loves her class. I have to say I am impressed with the progress she has made this year.
Her beautiful artwork that is now on display in the kitchen.
Kaelyn and her buddy Gunner. He is doing the Karate Kid crane pose! Having some of the Thanksgiving Day feast.
Kaelyn is playing the drums and singing the 1 little 2 little 3 little indians song.

Baby shower for baby Jacob

My mom had a really nice baby shower for me back in November to celebrate our new addition that will be here in December. I had so many wonderful people show up and enjoy a great afternoon. With school I don't get to see many of my friends a lot but this really made up for it.

Really love this picture.A really good friend of mine made me my cake for the shower and did an AMAZING job. My three little girls. Talk about cute!

My Italian family!

What a great group of women. Over the years of going to school I have met the most amazing people and love the friendship that I have made with them....Your looking at the future nurses!

My friend Nicole and I at the shower. So happy she was able to come :)

Went to visit Santa

Jake and I took the girls to visit Santa at the mall just a few weeks ago. The girls were really excited and Kaelyn made him a picture of what she wanted for Christmas.

Talia would not smile for the camera, last year she made funny faces by pulling the sides of her mouth open and sticking her tongue out.

Halloween fun at preschool

Talia joining in on the Halloween games. She is playing fish with a spider.

This was at Kaelyns Halloween prty for school with her buddy Gunner...Of course she is not looking at the camera.

37 weeks

Finally at 37 weeks and boy let me tell you this little man has not been easy at all. I was hospitalized yesterday for being to dehydrated. When I went into the hospital I was just having really bad back pains. When I got there I was hooked to the monitor and I was having minnie contractions. Then the oh so fun puking all over myself...uhhhhh not fun. They hooked me to an IV and it helped the contractions go away. So when I was ready to leave again the oh so wonderful thing happened again....So they kept me longer! Well now I'm at home and trying to rest but want I really want is this little guy to be here so I can get my body back to normal. It has been nice to have Jake home and he is taking GREAT care of me :)

Update on life

Today I am 34 weeks pregnant and I have 42 more days to go. It seems to have gone really quickly and now the last few weeks are lagging. I have 2 more weeks of school and they have been pretty stessful. I guess with the holidays it doesn't make it any easier as well as Jake working 7 days a week. I'm not complaining that Jake is working to much, I mean I'm grateful that he has a job but I'm so tired. I feel that I have had to ask for help from people and I hate it, I'm someone that normally doesn't do that and it makes me feel weak.
The baby on the last visit was 5lbs and with 8 more weeks to go I'm scared he will be bigger than the girls were. The doctor has said that I can be induced on the 20th so I think that is the game plan for now. Of course I will go and try to have him come on his own but I don't know how much pressure I can take with him. I can't sleep and walking is hard especially chasing Talia who has no found it funny to run from me because it takes me a while to catch her. Yesterday the teachers helper at Kaelyns school had to grab her after me running for 5 mins and having no success in getting her.
We have decided on making him a Jr. and naming him after my husband. I love Jakes name and since I have NO desire to have more babies I felt it was perfect. I'm just so curious to see who he will look like. I really hope that he looks like Kaelyn to even out. It's funny when people ask me where the blonde hair and blue eyes come from. I laugh at it because it feels like people are asking if she is from another man. The kid looks like a MILHOAN people, maybe I should carry Jakes picture with me and her uncle Issacs picture to prove it. She has the same eye color as I do! Anyways it's fun at time then just rude other.
Hopefully next time I post it will be with a picture of our little Jacob :)

Candy for the troops

Our local dentistry place that I take the girls to was offering cash for Halloween candy to send to the Troops overseas. I was already at the dentist with the two older girls so I called Joe to bag up some candy and bring it to me. He brought candy alright, but not as much as what I would of brought. I guess he did not want to let go of the good stuff. The girls bag weighed 3 lbs so they got three dollars and some toys. I went home to see how much the other bag at home was and the weight on that was 10lbs...So the girls had 13lbs of candy from Halloween...sheesh!

Trick or Treat

Jake and I took the girls for some good old trick or treating tonight and they had so much fun. I loved watching them run door to door laughing. Talia did such great job keeping up but them pooped out after a while and sat in the wagon enjoying the candy she got.
Talia needed to take a picture of us :)

My three beautiful butterflies.

Pumpkin carving

Daddy was able to carve pumpkins with the girls thank goodness. Jake has been working so much that I thought he might miss this. Jessica and Kaelyn were so excited and Talia was making faces for Jake depicting what she wanted her pumpkin to look like...Of course Talia wanted a "Sca-wee face". The girls are getting so big and I cherish every moment that they give me.

Trunk or Treat

Today was CC2's Trunk or Treat and Halloween party, so the girls and I went to have some Halloween fun. Jake had to work late so I recruited my one and only "man-ny" Joe to come and help me with the girls. I can ALWAYS count on him to help me with the girls and they definatly enjoy him around. He was able to stay and help me chase the girls around and help them with the games and trunk or treating. I haven't been doing well with the pregnancy and my stress levels are high and the doctor tried to put me on bed rest...hahaha if you know me that was NOT an option.
The girls got sooooo much candy.Talia was just the most happiest butterfly in the world, she went from car to car and had the biggest smile on her face. Kaelyn kept booking it from car to car and when I would call her back so she could wait for her sisters she would go back to the cars she had already went to to come back to us, very smart little girl. And little Miss Jessica was a big help with Talia holding her had and making sure her sister got candy too.Talia kinda got a little bit of makeup on Joe's nose :)

My 3 butterfly girls. Love that they are holding hands :)

They were told not to get up off the bedroom floor while I was doing Jessica's makeup...I knew if I let them roam the house that they makeup would be everywhere.

My crazy mom

Every year for Halloween my mom and her co-workers dress up and they are so funny. This year they are Gothic chics. The kids at her school think it's the greatest thing ever. She said that one kid was like I wish my mom dressed up. When my mom walked out of the office I just started to laugh at her. She is crazy with what she does and every year is great. Her friend Lisa has a spunky attitude and was wearing a short mini skirt with fish net stockings and all of them had their lip pierced and multipule earrings....The girls loved it and were excited to see my mom dressed up.

A&P class

Another semester but different class! This semester I am taking A&P and it has been fun so far. I have learned so much over the last few months and my brain hurts. We are studying the muscles of the cat right now and yes it is stinky in the class room but thank goodness I'm almost done. Thank goodness for my parents watching the kids because without them I would not be able to do this.
I'm 31 weeks in this picture and I hate to admit the spot on my shirt is cat juice...yes ewwwww I scrubbed it with soap after I saw that hahaha This normally doesn't happen but due to the big belly I bump into everything...yuck!

Thunder

Today while the kids and I were sitting in the parking lot waiting for school to start it started to rain and then we would hear the loud thunder. The kids eyes got big and Talia kept saying "Scawee mommie" and that comment caused a chain of "I'm scared" coming from the girls mouths. A story my mom came to mind of when I was a little kid and living in Chicago we would hear the thunder all the time. My mom use to tell us that my babcia was in heaven bowling and that every time you would hear the loud crash of the thunder it was her getting a strike. It helped us get over the fear and I don't think I ever was scared of thunder after that story. My mom use to sit us on the outside step of our back door and we would listen for the thunder and cheer because our grandmother was winning :)

After I told the girls the story they seemed more excited to hear the noise and I even got Talia to cheer.

Prayer before bedtime

Jake is so good with getting the girls together to do prayer at bedtime. Tonight Talia was the one who said prayer and I just love listening to her cute little voice. She still calls Heavenly Father "Harry Potter" when she prays and it always puts a smile on my face. Since I really have a hard time with kneeling or sitting for that matter I stood by the door to listen to prayer and I had to take this picture.

Contest day

Kinda bummed but we did not place for the scarecrow contest and I was actually shocked by that. The Grad prize was really good but it seemed like groups of like girls scouts were winning, it seemed to be a group contest not a family thing. OH WELL, there is always next year

What a difference a year makes...this was taken 2009.
Our 2010 picture!

Lombardi Ranch Scarecrow contest

This year I decided to enter our family in the Lombardi Ranch scarecrow contest. I figured it would be something that would be fun for us to do, I didn't realize how busy we were going to get over the next few weeks. So this is our creation in a two day period.

Daddy and the girls stuffing the lineman scare crow.

Here are the girls with their scarecrow doubles....The sign says "Our daddy keeps the lights on". It was going to say when the lights go out our daddy gets it on but I figured that would not probally be good hahahaha!

Our finish display!

Daddy never learns

Jake was reading the girls a story in my office and fell asleep mid sentence...I left the room for a bit and came back to this. Kaelyn and Jessica decorating daddy. First it started out with happy face stickers from the craft drawer, then they were poking him with sticks and then it ended with Snow Whites dress on his head with Kaelyn laying on him. He didn't move once, the girls thought he was playing dead and were going to jump out at them like he usually does.
I have NO idea where they get this from!

I could never sleep through this!

My soccer stars

I wanted to get pictures of the girls in their uniforms for soccer and if you know my little Kaelyn she is like the dog in the movie UP (squirrel). I can never get her to look at the camera, it is like pulling teeth. Talia wanted to be in the pictures and was crying after a while because I wanted just the two girls. So we made it a sister shot just for her.
My three little stooges!
With tears in her eyes she was able to take a picture with her sisters.

Jessica's first game of the season

Jessica is in her second year of soccer with AYSO and she seems to be doing well. The only thing we need to practice on is when she kicks the ball she doesn't have to fall to the ground and not to continuously pick her butt every 5 mins...Sorry for the detail I do this blog to remember everything! Jake and I love going to the games, just not how hot is has been. Her coach this year is an old fried of Jakes from church (Luis DeLeon).

Poor thing feel down and got trampled so her daddy went to comfort her.
Talia wanted to get dressed for the occasion in Jessica's old soccer uniform.

The girls are pumped up and ready to play...GO GREEN MACHINE!
