Today I took Jessica to the dentist. Many know that my child can sniff candy out of a snow storm, well that sweet tooth got her in trouble (my fault) and she needs to get a baby root canal....ouch right....Well next week we have an appointmet for her to get some work done, worst part is they have to knock her out. Not excited about this at all I just want to cry because I hated being knocked out when I had my wisdom teeth done.
Funny at one point I noticed that candy is everywhere. I would go to the grocery store and the cashier would give the kids balloons with suckers. I would leave them with the grandparents and icecream and treats there. Or I would go to Archer's and the employee's would have it....AHHHHHH then Halloween and the holiday's, it's everywhere......
P.S I swear we brush our kids teeth, Jessica does follow in my dad's footsteps with bad teeth. I will post the picture of her at the dentist so check back later tonight. This dentist's office was Harry Potter theme....

Fun with my girls
Tonight I was trying to figure out what we could do for fun since daddy is working late. I went over to Bed Bath and Beyond for a gift earlier today and I bought a Ginger bread hous
e. So the girls and I got to work. Those things are not as easy as it looks. The frosting got everywhere and I kept forgetting that this was for the girls and I kept trying to perfect the decor on the house. Needless to say I stepped back and let them go to town. I think I got so stressed over this...lol they had fun with this project and are now asking to eat it....It's 8:30pm not going to happen, I want to sleep

Getting good advice
Since many know, my grandmother past away and I have had such great support from many friends and family. Tonight I went over to my inlaws and talked with Cindy and get some advice from her. Her mother past away and I wanted to know what to do for my mother. She of course had a great idea. She told me that she wanted to know what other people's memories where of her mother. I loved the idea so I email my aunt who is a writer to see where to start.
My uncle at the funeral gave such a great talk about my Babcia. He told a story about how my Babcia had nicknames for all the kids. For example my mom's name is Diane, now my Babcia would call here Donna or Danusha. He went on to say that when they went to get the flowers for the funeral they where giving their nicknames to put on the flowers and as he gave them the names he realized that my aunt Lisa did not have one she was just Lisa. My uncle then said that my grandmother named her Lisa after Lisa Marie Presley (my babcia is a Elvis fan).
I know so many have great stories about here so I am hoping to get some and put a book together for her kids.....wish me luck

Back from Chicago
We flew in last night from Chicago. It was a long flight with Natalia, she did not cooperate at all. It was really nice to go back to Chicago, I just wish it was not for a funeral. I had a hard time seeing my Grandmother laying in a coffin. She didn't look like the Babcia we all knew. She wore her favorite flowered dress and she looked beautiful. A lot of people came and paid their respects, she was loved by so many people. I just kept crying because I could not believe that she was gone.
The family were being so supportive to many that came, they were really strong. Most had their moments but for the most part they comforted other's.
I had the privlage to read a scripture at her funeral that family had choosen. It was a reading from the prophet Isaiah: On this mountain the Lord of hosts will provide for all peoples A feast of rich food and choice wines, juicy, rich food and pure, choice wines. On this mountain he will destroy the veil that veils all peoples, The web that is woven over all nations; he will destroy death forever. The Lord God will wipe away the tears from all faces; The reproach of his people he will remove from the whole earth; fro the Lord has spoken. On that day it will be said "Behold our God, to whom we looked to save us! This is the Lord for whom we looked; let us rejoice and be glad that he has saved us!"
Most people know that I don't do tallks, but I got up there.
After the funeral everyone was able to relax a little and hang out and talk about memories we had of our Babcia. My cousin Nicole told me about a story about my Babcia, she said that around Christmas my Babcia opened one of her presents and it was a shirt, she put it on and went to Bingo then later that night put it back in the box and rewraped it so that no one knew that she peeked. I laugh at this because I am the same way I hate surprises so I will snoop(don't tell Jake I admited that). I heard so many great stories about her and most of them we all where able to just laugh, that woman was fun to be around.
It was really cold out in Chicago, it gave us a great opportunity to build a snow man. Of course it was not just your ordinary snow man, especially when Jake and Lorenzo get around. It was 17 degrees out there. I had Jake a picture of me with my jacket off then he ran from me so I froze a bit...
I will upload more picture's, the battery on my camera is low.
All in all it was a sad time but happy as well. My grandmother is at peace and with our Heavenly Father, she is probally challenging him to a game of Bingo...Watch out she's good.

Sad news

Yesterday was a hard day for my family. My Grandmother (Babcia) past away. A couple of days ago she had fallen and fractured her rib, she was not doing to well and my aunt and uncle had to call the ambulance. When she arrived at the hospital the doctor found blood in her stomach and an emergency surgery had to take place. While she was in recovery she had to have her dialisys and that made her more weak. After a day she was not healing and the doctors found that they would need to do another surgery and that she probally would not make it throuh that and it was her dialisys day as well. Every option that was available the out come was that she would pass away. This woman has always been a fighter, but I think she was done suffering.
Around 11:30 they took the tubes off of her and let her pass. Before she was gone my mom put the phone to her ear and let me and the kids say our goodbye's. I want to be there so bad but I had so many road blocks that made it impossible for me to go. Needless to say I am flying out to Chicago Thursday with my family to put my Babcia to rest. I was lucky to have her meet Jessica about 4 years ago. It made my Babcia's day, all she kept saying was "Oh my God". I wish she could of met my other two daughter's, but I know that she is watching over them for me right now.
Words can not express how I feel right now. Heavenly father wanted his angel to come home. Rest in Peace Babcia, We love you.
