Happy Birthday Auntie Kellie

My brother invited us to go to dinner for my sister inlaws birthday. They picked to go to Benihana's and get some live entertainment. The girls were in awww with it and Talia kept hiding. It was fun watching her try to figure out her chop sticks.
She was not feeling to good but she was willing to give me a smile :)

The menu was also a hat that they could wear.

The whole clan.

She was a little irritated after a while but it kept her busy.

DUI Task Force

Jake and I were able to work at a DUI task force for his mom and dad last night. I love getting to help do this stuff because you always meet the most random people and do something good by keeping drunk drivers off the road. Jake did the tows while I drove cars off after people were requested to get out of them by the police. We worked from 7:30 till 3am and we are soooooo tired but we have 3 little girls that got ALOT of rest and want to play. haha.

Yes we are corny but this was like a date night without kids...haha

My husband is one stud muffin :) Love him in uniform!

Talia get's a shot

Today I took Talia to get one of her 2 year shots. She was having fun playing with me in the room, jumping up and down and counting. she would stand on my knee count to three then jump and laugh. The doctor said she is in the 93% area for weight and height. I still laugh when she show me the graph on the laptop screen. Talia is 2 years old 35 3/4 inches and 33pounds....
She loved being in just a diaper while we waited...love her!

Good bye blue beast

We have had our Explorer for years now and have brought home all three girls home from the hospital in that car. At one point Jake lived in that car when he had to work in Sacramento. I asked Jake if he was sad to see it go and he answered "yes", it kind of broke my heart and I asked him if he wanted to keep it. Jake said he was okay with it going, it's funny things like a car bring memories for us. Sounds lame I know, but when you can remember happy talks or things like bringing your newborn baby home it's great. Do you remember what you drove that day? So a little picuture was needed to mark a memory of our life and the happiness that it added to our life.
Jake and Talia taking a picture for me, I was surprised Jake let me take this picture he usually says "Fran, NO" haha I think he is getting use to me documenting all that goes on.

Easter Play

Yesterday I went with my mother inlaw and my girls to a presentation at church. I was so impressed and glad I went. There were so many times I had to hold back tears. I would of loved to have gone and seen it again. Grandpa Russ was actually in the play and did a great job, although he was not happy about the makeup he had to wear (jake and him are so alike). The man that played Jesus was AMAZING, after the play was over Jessica goes "mommy it's Jesus" she had a huge smile so I told her to go get his autograph.....she was to shy but that would of been awesome if she actually got it. Even when I think of the play now I get tears in my eyes. When I go to my old ward I feel the spirit so strong there, and I truly miss that feeling. The people in CC2 have no idea how much they have changed my life and I hold that dear to my heart. If you look to the left you can see Russ.

This is where Jesus it talking to the people, this picture does not do justice to how wonderful the feeling I got when watching. Pilate then ordered his soldiers to scourge Jesus, no doubt hoping that this would be enough to satisfy the people. But the priests cried for His death all the more, and, fearing that the political charge of treason might be considered insufficient, returned to their first accusation of blasphemy. They quoted the law of Moses (Lev 24:16), which punished blasphemy with stoning, declared that He must die, "because He made Himself out to be the Son of God" (John 19:7). .
They really love their grandpa and I'm grateful that he shows so much love for them.

Butterfly Ball

Jessica and Jake were able to go to the Butterfly Ball this year at Jessica's school. Needless to say I was so excited to have them go. A good friend of mine let me borrow a dress that her daughter had that is absolutly beautiful, my sister inlaw Kellie painted her nails and my friend Laurel did her hair. I'm so grateful for great friends and family that went out of their way to make things right for my daughter. Jake said that she was running around at the dance and was having a blast. I asked him if he busted the robot....nope he hung out with the dads...haha

Jake had such a big smile on his face, he is such a great daddy. She was so happy and looked so beautiful.
Her hair came out so great! She didn't want to take it out the next day.

Class Lab

In my lab class we had to divide a agar dish in 4 quadrants and take our unwashed hands and make thumb prints on 3 of the squares except the last one. On the last square we used rubbing alcohol and disenfected our thumbs. It was kind of gross because I washed my hands prior to the experimennt and I forgot I wasn't suppose to, so I decided to touch the handles and the chairs in the room so I could get my hands dirty.
I had so much growth on my dish, and yes nothing grew after I disenfected my thumb....yuck! I'm washing my hands all the time now....

Special package

The other day the girls recieved a package in the mail from the The Neal family. They were so excited to see that they got stuff and were bugging me all day to plant the seeds. Since Brandon has remarried I have had the opportunity to get to know his new wife and her cute little kids. Christa and her kids have been so kind to my girls. Jessica and Kaelyn love to spend time with their new cousin Winter. So grateful for the love they have showed my family.
These were our little pots that have our soon to be 4 leaf clovers.

It's she so adorable:)
Talia was busy doing what I don't know.

After school hip hop class

A couple of weeks ago I signed Jessica up to do a hip hop class for an after school program they had. She really liked it! She would go every Tuesday after school and learn a routine. This last tuesday I was able to see her do the routine with her friends. It was really cute, I'm trying to see if this is what she wants to continue to do.

Many faces of Talia

This little girl loves to take pictures....

Jessica explains today's lesson in school

So Jessica what did you learn in school "mommy Abraham Lincoln is poor and George Washington is rich because Abraham Lincoln in on the penny and George Washington is on the quarter" hmmmm I had to laugh!
I guess this was the poor guy!

"Ge--or--gee Waa---sh --e-ton" This is how she sounded it out!
