Nathan's 8th birthday

As soon as we got the invitation I knew I needed to make room for this on our calendar. Raeann and Vicki know how to throw a party and they always make you feel very welcomed to be there. This year it was a Army themed party. The girls all had camo shirts, baby jake with the camo pants and mom and dad with the nifty custom made tee-shirts. Thanks to a great friends who guided me where to get shirts made and made super cute hair bows for my girls. This party was fully loaded, you had to get code names and a file made, boot camp was a must and major fun was in the books for all that came. The jumper for the party was longer than the house and there were over 300 hot dogs for the kids to chow down.
The heat was crazy so thank goodness for the pool. Jake to the baby in and the kids had a blast. It's always really great seeing Jake's cousins. We have so much fun with them and laughter is always in the cards. Baby Jake was determined to go skinny dipping. He was not happy to wear clothes at all, after a few attempts to show his family jewels he finally got in the pool and the shorts stayed on.
Hot dogs by the plenty were available but on the way home Jake and I needed a stop at Chill's.

Much need time with my husband

Life has been crazy lately and with 4 kids running around fighting from morning till night and sometimes even in there sleep a mom needs her break. Jake came home and said get ready we are going out. I had plans that night with some friends and decided that I really needed this time with Jake. We barely see each other and most of the time I am not very happy. I really do try to not be so grouchy but so much has bothered me lately and I wanted an out for just a few hours. My arguments with Jake usually are about how he gets peace and quiet while riding to work and I never get that. I guess I'm envious of his daily routine and he is envious of mine. It's a standing battle!
I wanted out of the SCV so we headed to Burbank and used one of my Christmas gift certificates and ate at PF Changs. It was perfect, my mother inlaw came over and watched the kids for us and we were getting a much needed husband and wife time. We were able to talk about whats been going on and enjoy each others company.

The joy of it all

"Baby Jake, show us how daddy brushes your teeth." Yup, we hold him down just like he is holding the Kangaroo down. He started to beat the doll, but we don't do that....hahaha little stinker!
So I make this fabulous dinner, even sugar was used in the recipe and these two where not having it. Everyone else got seconds, I would not let up on this one. They had to sit there till it was all gone!
The Dentist report for cavities is as follows: Jessica 1..Natalia 2 and baby Jake 0....They are breaking the bank for Jake and I....

Life

I'm so behind on my blog and I have good reason. Life has been busy with school, kids activities, homework etc. In the mist of it all I've been able to make good memories with family and friends, I hate to just say "friends" because this special group of women that I'm close to have really been there for me, I consider them family. They treat my children with kindness and care, they love them and make me feel at peace.
Jessica has been leaving little notes around the house for me, I find the occasional "I love you mom" hidden and taped up. Tonight was the information for dad to find in the morning about the Venus fly trap that Jake bought the kids. They think it is the coolest thing ever and keep looking for bugs to feed it. Grosses me out!
I was able to take the kids to a grand opening and meet with Jake, craziness was not the word for it. After an hour wait Jakes food flipped to the floor and he made a trip to get pizza, it was sad and yet funny. The kids had a blast as always hanging with the coolest kids on the block.

Ive been able to hang out with my nephew Blake alot and I love it. I think I'm going to have him call me Cocia instead of aunt. I was leaving that name for my brother and sisters kids but that looks pretty faint. Blake is a doll and love the time he is hanging out with us. Yesterday he was here, I also had 4 other children over and it was pretty amazing. I got so much done and all the kids were super good!

Melinda's wedding

This was a wonderful day and I'm so glad I got to be a part of it. Melinda and I have known eachother since 9th grade and continued a friendship for years. She has been there for me during my hard times and I have done the same for her. There was a lot of preparation in this wedding and we got it to where it was perfect, the colors her dress, the people were just amazing. Her father gave the toast and did a great job of course, he teases me about doing it but it was special. My father and Valerie did the food, melissa and I did decorations. And I was the coordinator of it all, I can now add wedding planner to my resume, what a hard job. Congrats Mr. and Mrs. Tim Weise!

All in one day!!!!!!

We kept the kids busy all day with this one!!! Easter egg hunt at central park then the William S. Hart petting place...Jake and I better get put in a good nursing home with all that we do with out kids haha. My mom was able to come as well, I wish my dad could of made it but he was at work. Jakes family all came to town to hang out for the weekend and I always love having them around. They are great to talk with and their kids are so fun. The kids were a bit scared about the easter egg hunt so I had to run along side Talia, Jake took baby Jake, my mom had Jessica and Eric took Kaelyn. Everyone had a buddy!!
After the egg hunt Jake went gun shopping with his dad and baby Jake while I took a trip to the William . Hart park and fed the animals with the kids then took a tour of the house there. It was neat, not kid friendly but at least I can say that I've been there haha.
