When dad goes to work we follow

I woke up this morning at 6am due to Jake getting a call out. I was bummed but I remember I needed to return these monkey's back to the zoo so we followed Jake to Santa Barbara. I called my mother inlaw in the morning and asked her to come along too, so we made it a date.

They had a dinosaur show and baby Jake freaked out. The show was cute and the costumes were pretty cool.

Daddy got to join us for a bit, baby Jake kept licking the top of his dad's head so Jake pulled him down after this picture. Jezze dad, he like salt!

The girl got to feed the giraffe's and they were giggling like crazy because they were getting licked. 

After the zoo we went to rusty's for pizza a salad. Loved the food but they ripped us off on the salad bar. Sorry Rusty's, won't come there again!

On our way home we made it to Carpenteria beach for a bit, the two youngest were covered in sand (literally). I love this beach, a lot of good memories there and my kids are beach lovers, for sure.

More fun

Today was a trip to Hurricane Harbor with my mom and the kids. It was great till noon came rolling around and it got packed. I swear, I'm so self conscious about my body and won't wear a two piece but some woman have no shame. I saw 300lb women in bikinis, I was shocked and could not help staring, I swear I heard baby Jake say ewww a few times haha. When we got back to my moms I got put on peach picking duty, the whole tree is loaded. I got a little nervous going up but got a ton for my mom down.
Later on that night we went to Nikki Marsh's house for outdoor movie night, Hotel Transylvania was the pick. I leaned over to tell my friend Katie that I didn't remember certain parts of the movie because I never get to watch a whole movie thru due to the kids. All the kids had a blast and the company was fun, cant wait till the next movie night.

Beach day

Beach days are always a great day. This day was just a break I needed, the weather was just so perfect and the company was just right. The kids played all day, with no fights or problems. Talia and Jessica are getting really dark from being by the water so much. The sand was just in every crevasse and the kids did not mind at all. I thought that when we left that they would all crash out, ha...they were all still going strong. Jake met us when we were leaving then we headed to get some food. I love that he works out in Ventura and I enjoy going out there.

Good Times

This week started off ruff but from love and support from so many it got better. My mom came over on Tuesday and helped me clean out kids rooms, it took forever. So from 10 to 2:30 and 5 trash bags later the kids rooms were organized. It's been really nice having my mom around, I feel like a big baby but I go to her when I'm down to get that comfort I need. When my mom left I started getting down again and Jake called to have me come out to his work area for dinner, I jumped in the car and headed to Ventura. This is what I really needed, the weather was beautiful and we went to Joe's Crab Shack. We ate outside overlooking the ocean, there was even a play area for the kids. Go grateful for the support and love I have from so many. I really can't express how my heart is full but those that have been there I'm forever grateful.

Summer Vacation

This kid doesn't look like me, I think the eye color is the same but Holy Milhoan. She is her dad's side.

Why send them to the corner when they don't behave, just make them do sit ups and push ups.

The kids put on a puppet show for us last night, Jake and I were cracking up. There were signs all over the house announcing it. They were so cute and funny, the imagination that these monkey's have is adorable.
