My cute little 5 year old is very consumed with her birthday that is not until JULY. I chuckle at how people will tell me how she brought up her birthday and the ideas she has for it. Tonight was the birthday questions night.
"Mommy, how many more days till my birthday?"
"Mommy, in a couple more days it will be June,,,eeeek then July."
"What kind of birthday cards are we going to get to invite people?"
I have a lot to prepare for because this little girl has some high expectations. I made a birthday chain tonight because I can't always figure how many days till her birthday off the top of my head and I want to give her a visual. She doesn't get the concept of weeks haha

Twins extravaganza
These are a few pictures I've taken from my babysitting day with the twins. Let me just say I love these little girls like crazy and love hearing them call me Aunt Fran. But holy batman they are a handful! I've learned that Hailey does NOT like pigtails but will let me do braids in her hair, she likes her nails painted and does NOT like to take a nap or hear the word sleep. Brianna will let me do pigtails, loves the color pink and does NOT like to take a nap or hear the word sleep. Jake made the mistake to say "sleep", I had 20mins of crying because they thought it was bed time. hahaha Jake brought me home flowers and it was a very much appreciated.
Things we did was nail painting and hair do's....park play....dinner...play with uncle joe...baths....castle building and tickle time. too much fun!

Mother's day/ Jessica's birthday
Today wasn't just mothers day, it was also my daughter Jessica's birthday. Eight years ago today I was blessed with a beautiful daughter and love seeing her grow. I knew today was going to be one of those busy days going from family to families houses and also celebrating Jessica day. I think Ive gone picture crazy lately but I think it's important to document all the fun we have in our lives. I mean really people do you think you can remember every memory you've ever had!? I was able to see some of my good friends at church and take pictures with them, I think these women are excellent mother's. There are a few that were not at church or live too far that I wish I would of got pictures with but they were in my thoughts, DITCHERS....haha love ya!
Jake and I got the annual pictures with our mothers and I special shout out to Nikki for the amazing card that had me laughing for days. I received some amazing gifts from the girls and the hubby did a great job as well, that man knows how to spoil his wife.
My parents had a birthday dinner for Jessica and she was able to open gifts and eat yummy treats. I love being a mom and wife, I'm grateful for the blessings I have in my life!

Talia
I was looking through some old photos and found some of Talia's birth. This little monkey was born in February and boy Jake was worried because now he has 3 girls. She was a pretty good delivery, I went into Henry mayo begging to have her and because I knew the doctor I wanted was working that night I went in claiming I was having contractions. When Dr. Marter saw me he laughed and broke my water for me. Natalia is my middle name as well as my great grandmother's name, Jake and I both felt it would fit her perfectly.

Mr. Hunter James Evans
Can I just say what a text picture can do to ones day....On the 17th of this month I received a text message from our friend Cory with this little guys picture and I wanted to cry. I was so happy for them! I know my friend was just ready to have this baby and he is finally here. Rachel and I went to visit Laurel and the baby and it brought so many memories of when I had the baby Jake. Welcome to the world Hunter and I can't wait to babysit you :)
Jessica's baptism
Today was Jessica's baptism and I was nervous about how it would go, I was worried about the food, people coming and getting everything I needed. The one thing I forgot to do was ask Jessica how she was, it wasn't till later in the day she was a little quiet and I asked her how she was doing. She told me she was nervous and that she thinks dad is going to push her all the way to the floor in the font. I talked to her about it and I practiced a few times with her on how it would go. She is just like me and doesn't like center of attention at all. When the Rachel and Mindy gave their talks she was getting shy with them just looking at her but that is how I am too. The talks were perfect and even better my good friend Rachel was one of the speakers, just grateful for her friendship. I'm very grateful for all that showed up today to support her in her decision to be baptized. To those who didn't show up that were on my side of the family, I am EXTREMELY disappointed and will never forget that you were not there...I call it selfish and shame on you!!!!
Anyways I got to talk with Jessica and it was hard because I had so much to say to her and I just gave up till I found a poem that fit the event and with that I said a few words and meant every word. My daughter is amazing and I am so proud of her and how she is a beautiful young lady. After the baptism I had food at the house and it was perfect, good food and company is always fun for me. So happy all turned out well!

My day
Have you ever had a day were you just stop and go "I'm stressed and when my husband comes home I'm running out of the house for a few hours?" Today is that day! In the morning I got the kids ready which means I say "Get your shoes on" a million times, tie shoes, make lunches, brush and dress all four kids and make it out the door at 7:30am. It doesn't matter if I wake up at 5am or 6am we are always rushing to get to school. And when I get up and say that I'm going to be early someone has a meltdown, a shoe is missing or a certain boy needs his diaper changed AGAIN.
After dropping the kids off at school I ran a quick errand and headed to the gym. Baby Jake has been walking in to the kids club with no issues but today was another story he cried for me and finally a worker grabbed him and I went to do my workout. Now my day got a little relaxed burning off steam on the elliptical but I knew eventually the kids club girls where going to come for me because I can't leave them there all day...what! lol
On to the next errand the bank who messed up on my car loan. Oh the joys of my son not wanting to sit in the stroller and Talia deciding that it was the best place to make her little brother scream and run in the bank so her mom can not concentrate to what the guy is saying. You would think I would go home and tie them up by now but oh Fran still has an appointment with the Girlie doctor...HAHAHA what was I thinking! Ever been in a gown trying to control your kids in a tiny room. I think my favorite part of the visit was when the RN said to me that my blood pressure was perfect and she was surprised due to my stresses of 4 kids..AWESOME LADY!
Yes, I finally went home but for just a few minutes till it was time to get the other two girls.....it's 5:00pm and Jakes not home. From the time I got the other girls I've broke up fights vacuumed up cereal, worked on kids homework and fought with Talia to eat dinner. A few things I learned today was:
1. Never take the kids to the girlie doctor...EVER!
2. Feed baby Jake bananas so we don't have a last minute diaper change in the morning!
3. Wait till Jake gets home to run errands
4. Wait till Jake gets home to run errands
5. Hide every chair in the house so the kids can't get to the cereal.
A few good things that I'm proud of is Jessica is doing ALOT better in school, Kaelyn got a perfect score on her speech today, Talia is still angry and baby Jake thinks cereal off the floor tastes great. :)
And it's 5:04pm and Jakes still not home! Calgone take me away!

Magic Trip after school
I like what my friend Nikki said about taking a ton of pictures to show our kids proof we did take them to fun places when they were kids. I love going and doing fun activities with my kids and watching them enjoy their time. Nikki sent out the alert about taking the kids to Magic mountain after school on friday and I have to say I was excited for the week to be over and to kick off the weekend with some fun. The kids had a blast on the rides and enjoyed the company of the other kids.

Start them young!
I found these photos in my phone and started to laugh. When I was a kid my parents would have us do yard work and even as times I would do side stuff for my dad's work. If I'm not mistaken I would stuff envelopes for them. I use to hate doing yard work, i would see that my friends would go on vacations and hang at the mall and my dad would not really let me do that stuff. I would be so mad, but now I look back and say, Thank goodness for his example and guidance. The pictures are of the kids helping with yard work and Jessica came to work with me one night to sharpen all my pencils and stuff envelopes for me.
uhhhh
The simple things are making me cry today! This morning I woke up to my husband kissing me on the cheek and saying "bye babe, I'm going to work and I'm taking your car because the truck is leaking." Ehh, what! I figured maybe I will take the stroller and the kids and I will walk to church. HA, the stroller's broke! So I decided that the day was not going well so I called my dad to ask him about the truck and in his words I get "bring it here, lets look at it." The kids were bored and I was frustrated with the day. When my dad got under the truck I started to cry, what the heck is wrong with me. I miss living near my parents, yeah it's only a 20min drive but it's a pain at times. I'm jealous of my siblings who either live at home or 5mins away. I feel like a kid crying like a fool over nothing. My parents really go out of their way for me and I know if I lived closer the kind of help I need would be there. Every time I drop them off to be watched I come back to them fed, bathed and watching a show eating a snack. My mom cracks me up at times because she has a routine with them and they listen. A while back I had the choice to move by them but there were no houses available and we were unsure about moving close to family. don't get me wrong, I know we moved to a wonderful place, I've made friends I feel are like family. My children have amazing friends that I want them to grow up and make memories with. I think the only thing missing is having my parents closer! Ehhhh okay no more whining on to the next!
Time out for women
Time out for women was an experience for sure. It's nice to get away and bond with others and enjoy time to unwind. I was able to go with an amazing group of girls and this was my first time going to this event. I really didn't know what to expect but I was told that is was a good experience. I enjoyed a couple of the talks that were given and of course felt that they were directed towards me (how did they know haha). There were some talks I didn't feel I could relate to and my ADD kicked in and I dazed out. I think I ate everything that was not good for me this weekend and a part of me got stressed. I was shocked that I felt that way, I mean no kids...no hubby...no one to worry about but myself. Since school slowed down I feel bored and not challenged, I try pinterest projects every week and try to fill my time but with being away from the busy I was lost in a way.
Friday after the conference ended a group of the girls headed to CPK for a late dinner..Yummmy pizza was a must and the girls conversations were hilarious and very much needed. At the end I "borrowed" a butter knife incase I had to go Rambo on someone while walking back to our hotel. The girls thought it was funny but I was like "this butter knife will save our lives." hahaha
When I got home I was impressed to see the house clean, Jake really took the time to recognize that it would be nice to have me come home to less work.
Anyways, hopefully we can all do a weekend with the girls again soon!
