Twins 1st Birthday

My adorable neices turned 1 and we celebrated by having a pool party. It was really nice to be in the pool with this crazy heat, my girls had a blast running around and enjoying the family's company.
This is my favorite picture of the girls, they love their new wagon~
The 2 grandpa's with Hailey and Brianna.
Hailey getting all rubbed down with sunblock so she can go in the pool, such a happy baby.

Class speech

I had a speech that I gave on Distractions while driving and my sister put together a poster that she felt showed how I get distracted while driving. The class loved it and I really was impressed with her art work. The poster also opened my eyes to how dangerous I was being when I was driving. I got a 100% on the speech and I have a few people crying after I finished.

Beach day

My mom was in Chicago for a couple of weeks helping family so when she got back she knew that I was having a hard time so she sent my sister to pick me and the kids up for a beach trip. It was so fun! We went to one of my favorite beaches, Carpenteria.

My goofy sister and Talia, if you wonder where my kids get it blame her. ;p

Kaelyn was a good sport about letting us put her in the sand.

Love this picture of Kaelyn and Jessica, so sweet!

Happy Birthday Kaelyn

Kaelyn is now the big 4! She was so happy today (July 21), my little girl had the biggest smile on her face all day. In the morning we went and took her to Chuck E Cheese to play games and have some pizza, she kept telling everyone there it was her birthday. Later that day I had a family BBQ at the house so she could open presents and have some yummy cake.
Our trip to Chucke E Cheese was Kaelyn's first choice for lunch.
Every year I do a special cake for whom ever's birthday it is, this year I wanted to do something really neat but do to unexpected stuff I was not able to do it :( :(. So this was the best I could do!

She was so happy to blow out her candle and have everyone sing to her happy birthday.

One of her favorite gifts was from her Uncle Joe, he got her a mermaid Barbie. When she opened it she giggled.
Banana splits and cake is the way to go!

Hanging at the park

When Jake an I first bought our house we wanted certain things like good neighborhood, great school district, big rooms and a park nearby. The park is just around the corner from our house and we love it there. I took the girls up to play for a bit and had to get some shots of how girlie my Kaelyn is.

LeAndra was teaching Jessica how play volley ball and she was doing really great.

Kaelyn that is not soccer ball hunny!
She decided to wear a dress with shin protectors and her tennis shoes. Jake and i just laughed and tried to get her to change but she kept saying "Come on mom."

17 weeks

Here is a belly shot I took in Big Bear, I am 17 weeks now!

Big Bear here we come

Last week we all went up to Big Bear for the weekend to take the boat out and hang with our amazing friends the Sons family. It is always so beautiful up there no matter the time of the year. Jake was able to take the boat to do some serious tubing and cruise the lake. The water was so calm and there was not many people on the lake. Because the lake house has it's own dock we didn't have to get the boat out of the water all weekend, all we had to do is walk down the steps from the house and get in.

The girls are ready for the boat!

Hold on Jake, he was so excited to get to go on this raft. He forgot to bring the wake board but he said this was just a fun.

Here is Hannah and LeAndra getting pulled around on the lake.

LeAndra, Paris and Kaelyn riding in the 3 seater tube.

Lost Dog

Jake use to let our dog Core roam around in the front yard from time to time, wait no he did it every day! This time Core did not come back home and we thought that a coyote probally got him due to us living by the hills. We have a chip that was put in his neck that if he ever did get lost we could find him but it didn't work "LOVELY." Jessica was really sad to say the least and tha morning the girls were standing outside screaming him name, I was so sad for them. Jake bought me him when we first got married so I had company at night when he worked, he is a Rat Terrior kind of like a Jack Russell.
Jessica came in my office with a sign that said "LOST DOG" she said that daddy has to put them up for her. We had to add some more information to the sign for her so anyone who saw him could contact us. As Jake put signs up Jessica would hold her sign in the air and wave them at cars passing by, she was getting mad and saying "Daddy they are not looking at my sign, this is serious we need to find Core." He was finally found at what we call doggie jail in Castaic and Jake picked him up, the girls were going crazy when they saw him.
Talia was helping with carrying the tape for her daddy.

Jake putting up Jessica's signs and our more detailed signs to find good old Core.
Core's mug shot from the doggie jail in Castaic.

Day at the pool

We were able to borrow our friends pool key and go cool off at the pool today. It was so nice to just go an relax and have a little bit of fun. Jake's cousin's daughter's are in town and have been staying at our house and my girls are loving the attention. Talia has become more of a swimmer and will get in and out of the pool and just keep jumping in over and over.
Love the action shots that my camera takes!

Have no fear Talia!

The girls decided to try and make big splash by all jumping in at once.

Water painting

I wanted to do some crafts with the girls and I figured that water painting may be fun for them. I took the girls to Target to get a few things and headed home with paints and snacks. I set the girls outside with a paint set and cup for each and let them make some works of art. It was really nice to watch them all get along and sit without fuss. since we are trying to get started on the remodling of our backyard we did not have shade for them so it got a bit hot. We moved the project in the cool house. The girls were so excited to hang their art on the sliding window for daddy to see when he got home. Talia sat for hours just painting away, she kept saying "mommy I done put it up". I'm so glad the girls enjoyed the afternoon and I hope to get them some more crafts for the week.
Window of art!
Talia was in deep thought when she was doing her picture of a "Happy face mama".
It was a bit bright outside so they needed some shades.

Ultrasound

So my sister asked if I wanted an ultrasound at 15weeks to see the sex of the baby, as nervous as I was I went to go find out. At first we thought it was a boy but then we saw girls parts...My sister thinks it might of had something to do with the cord in the way. So she said she is 50% sure it's a boy and 50% sure that it's a girl...I feel so much better knowing that sister thanks hahaha. After trying a few times the baby balled up and was like that's all you get. So I have to go back again in a week to try another time.

Front view of the baby's face.

The baby's rear end, don't ask my sister took the picture~.

Here is the baby making a fist.

Here is the baby's foot. Boy I need a tan on my stomach....lol

Lake house for the 4th

Since our plans for Lake Mead fell thru Jake and I wanted to have a good weekend regardless of having to cancel our trip with our friends. We decided to join my parents at their lake house for the weekend. It was so nice up there, I had forgotten how much I love it there. We got to go on the boat a couple of times and just hang out and relax. My parents cooked amazing dinners for us and the kids got to run around and play till there heart was content. We even watched the fireworks from the deck eating snacks and chit chatting. It was really nice to spend time with my famiy.
My mom and Talia cooling off in the water. Talia kept flopping back and giggling.

Talia was able to drive us around the lake, she did a great job and did not speed much. I told Jake that I needed Chocolate and this is what he came back with. Gotta love his sense of humor.

We found an organic all natural slushy place in town and to our surprise it was really good.

I think Kaelyn was trying to get a tan or she was bored waiting to head out to the lake.

14 weeks with baby 4

Here is an updated picture at 14 weeks. The doctor tried to see what the sex of the baby was but was not able to see. Needless to say I was scared! We should know on the next visit what the sex of the baby is :)

Sea World trip

My mom and sister wanted to take the girls and I to Sea World for the day to have a little bit of girls day fun. I have not been there in 6 years and the time I went I was 4 months pregnant with Jessica. We had such a great day watching the shows and looking at all the aquariums. The girls loved feeding the seals fish and laughed everytime the birds snached the fish from their hands.

Taking a break with Jessica and eating a lemon slushy. It was really hot out there and I got really burnt.

Love how the fish in Jessica's hand is belly up. They loved watching the Seals jumping and fighting for the fish.
I love this picture of Kaelyn looking at the Beluga whales.
Kaelyn was a little worried sitting in the tunnel with my sister and Jessica. You can tell by the look on her faces that she was unsure of this :)

They look almost fake, the girls were amazed at all the flips and slashing that was going on. Next time we go we are sitting in the splash zone.

Here is the gang waiting to watch the Shamu show.
Waiting in line to pet the dolphins to only find out you have to be 10 to do that...nice lol
