Talia's 1 year shots

I hate going to take the girls to get shots. It is so hard for me to sit there and know that they are going to start to cry in a few minute's. I remember when Jessica got her first set of shots, I almost passed out. I had to have my mom inlaw take her the next few times....I know I'm weak. lol
Anyways Talia is 28lbs and they told me in a nice way that she needs to drink regular milk oppose to formula. They said that she was not under fed, what are they trying to say! She is such a doll. She did very well with the shots and does not have to go back till her 15 month check up. Kealyn made sure that everyone we passed knew that "Talia got shot's, it hurt". Needless to say between getting stickers, Kealyn talking to everyone and Kaelyn taking her shoes of 50 million times we got out of there.

Rainy Day!

Today Jake got rained out and was able to stay home with us. I went to do some collections for my father inlaws company and was going to go home and just chill. I got a call from our friends the Ball family and they wanted to go out and have some fun so we went bowling. The kids had a BLAST! There was a lot of cheering and hi five's,it was really great. Jake and I rarely get to go out and this was such a great day to do it.
After the bowling alley we had a great lunch/dinner at BJ's then off to check out some model homes. Let me tell you, that is my kind of fun. Just going thru the model homes and getting idea's for decorating and of course wanting a bigger home is fun for me. the kids loved running thru the rooms and jumping on the beds lol....

In all today was really great and we hope to do it again very soon :)

Nice evening walk

Jake and I decided to take the girls on a walk after dinner for a bit of air. It was nice to walk our neighborhood and check out all the houses that are for sale. We use to always go for a walk but life got busy and we had no time for the important things in our lives. We have 2 double strollers and we load up the girls and bundle them up, we even brought our dog Core. Jake was not fond of the idea of having the dog come with. He thinks Core is not a manly dog. lol I got to tease him on the walk, at one point he put the dog in the extra seat in the stroller.
Kealyn wanted to do some Knock Knock joke's so I got one of them on video.

Valentine's Day

I hope everyone is having a great Valentine's day!

Today I decided to take the girls to Sears to take pictures. Jake always says that he wants pictures of his 4 girls in his wallet, so we went. I didn't want to take them sooner because I wanted to loose the baby weight first. It is so hard to get them all to look at the camera and smile. I had two of my friends come to help make sure hair was great, rolls where tucked in, and to get the girls to laugh. Natalia was not having it, she would just stare at the camera like she had stage fright. Here are a few of the pictures we took. The girls look great and I think Jake will loves these beauties in his wallet to show off.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Tagged!

I have been tagged to post the 5th picture in my 5th album. This a picture taken at Jake's aunt's house in Walnut. To my left is Kristin (Jake's cousins girlfriend) to my right is Gina (Jake's cousin's bestfriend) these two girls are fun to hang out with. Don't let the coke beverage in Kristins hand fool you it's tainted by ALCOHOL. The only reason I know this is because she left her glass unattented and Kaelyn took a swig of it and Kristin came running to stop her. My child, thank goodness did not like it and it came back up later that night (yeah for me).
I tag Genine, Nicole G, Hannah, Gina

Talia's party!

I decided to throw Natalia a party this weekend, it was sort of short notice and I was going to wait but I changed my mind last minute. I'm glad I did though, it was nice getting together will my friends and family, since I have been doing school I didn't have a lot of time to see people.

I had the kids make their very own paper hats and we played pin the arrow on the heart and got to jump on the trampoline.

With lots of great food and fun I think it turned out well. My parents make noodles with creamsauce and garlice bread and we had some yummy cupcakes to end with a bang.
Jake was not able to be there because he was working :( Natalia fell asleep before we could sing Happy Birthday but we sang to her while she was sleeping, it was cute.
I got some great pictures of the kids and their hats and the greatest grandma in the world sporting one too. (she's gonna kill me for the picture I put up but she looks great)

Paint a dream

On Friday we went to Paint a dream. I planned it with my friend Melinda to take the kids, and Jake came home early so he decided to take a trip with the girls. I didn't tell him where we were going till we got there. I think later on he secretly loved it. the girls loved it, of course Kealyn has a short attention span and also wanted to paint everything there. that place can get expensive!
Jessica got to paint a dog and Kaelyn got a turtle and a kitty. All in all it was fun and I got some great pictures. I love being able to spend some time with my family, I love these memories that we make with eachother. Jake is such a good sport.

In the car on the ride over to the paint place he asked the girls. Do you want to go dirt biking or do crafts? Needless to say my girls wanted to do crafts. He loves his girls!

My baby is 1 years old today!

Today is my baby girl's 1 year birthday! Jessica and I woke her up this morning singing our happy birthday song to her. I started to do this with Jessica when she was little and I do if for each of the the girls on the morning of their birthday's. It was cute as Jessica and I started to sing Talia woke up with a smile then took her blanket and put it over her head (I didn't think our singing was that bad). A good friend of ours made her a birthday bow to wear on her special day...she looks so cute with it on :)

I'm trying to throw a last minute party together for her at my inlaws to celebrate this weekend. Not the usual extravaganza I throw but it was be fun for her I'm sure.

Talia was born Feb 5th 2008 at Henry Mayo Hospital. I was at home hanging out with a friend and in the middle of my sentence I stopped talking. My friend was like are you okay and I said yeah just a little cramping nothing un-normal. Well it kept happening every 5 mins and my friend was like you need to get to the hospital. Thank goodness for he being there because I was in labor. I got to Henry Mayo and got that magical epadural and at 11:49pm little Miss Talia was born 7lbs 12oz 19inches long....She is an absolute doll and I am glad that I was blessed with her.

Happy Birthday baby girl!

My hubby

Jake and I have a great relationship. We are always goofing around with eachother on a daily basis and finding ways to tease eachother. But you know what he is an amazing father and husband. I know I give him a hard time and sometimes take a bit of frustration out on him but he always knows what to do to make me happy.

I always tell him are you sure your happy with me? and he always says of course you make me happy (wow I do) I feel at times I can be sort of a pain in the rear and don't always see eye to eye with him, but he completes this family. Every morning Kaelyn wakes up ans asks "where daddy" and my response is always "at work". This week Jake is home and she is happier than ever to see daddy home.

I am very grateful for my husband and for the happiness he brings our lives.....

Garett's wedding

This past weekend we went to a friend of ours wedding. Jake grew up knowing him and he came to our wedding 6 1/2 years ago (dang that's long). I still remember he worn a bergandy button up shirt with black pants and suspenders. He is a great guy loves new adventures and will try anything new.

Jake and I where able to go down and help out at the wedding and also spend some husband and wife time together (very much needed). Thanks to our wonderful inlaws Jake and I got to have lunch down at Jake's favorite restaurant Outback in Long beach and visit with old friends before the kids came down.

When the ceremony was over I asked Kaelyn if she wanted to take a picture with the princess and she said "yes" so we went up to the bride and got a great picture with her. She won't even go up to the princess's at Disneyland, we are making progress lol.

Kaeyln and Jessica where dancing maniac's. Kaelyn got to join in on the conga line! My kids crack me up. I even got Jake and Jessica dancing on video, I will put that up when I get it off Cindy's camera.

The bride looked beautiful and they looked very happy.
