GRRRRRRRREAT

Today I took Jessica to the dentist. Many know that my child can sniff candy out of a snow storm, well that sweet tooth got her in trouble (my fault) and she needs to get a baby root canal....ouch right....Well next week we have an appointmet for her to get some work done, worst part is they have to knock her out. Not excited about this at all I just want to cry because I hated being knocked out when I had my wisdom teeth done.

Funny at one point I noticed that candy is everywhere. I would go to the grocery store and the cashier would give the kids balloons with suckers. I would leave them with the grandparents and icecream and treats there. Or I would go to Archer's and the employee's would have it....AHHHHHH then Halloween and the holiday's, it's everywhere......

P.S I swear we brush our kids teeth, Jessica does follow in my dad's footsteps with bad teeth. I will post the picture of her at the dentist so check back later tonight. This dentist's office was Harry Potter theme....

Fun with my girls

Tonight I was trying to figure out what we could do for fun since daddy is working late. I went over to Bed Bath and Beyond for a gift earlier today and I bought a Ginger bread house. So the girls and I got to work. Those things are not as easy as it looks. The frosting got everywhere and I kept forgetting that this was for the girls and I kept trying to perfect the decor on the house. Needless to say I stepped back and let them go to town. I think I got so stressed over this...lol they had fun with this project and are now asking to eat it....It's 8:30pm not going to happen, I want to sleep

Getting good advice

Since many know, my grandmother past away and I have had such great support from many friends and family. Tonight I went over to my inlaws and talked with Cindy and get some advice from her. Her mother past away and I wanted to know what to do for my mother. She of course had a great idea. She told me that she wanted to know what other people's memories where of her mother. I loved the idea so I email my aunt who is a writer to see where to start.

My uncle at the funeral gave such a great talk about my Babcia. He told a story about how my Babcia had nicknames for all the kids. For example my mom's name is Diane, now my Babcia would call here Donna or Danusha. He went on to say that when they went to get the flowers for the funeral they where giving their nicknames to put on the flowers and as he gave them the names he realized that my aunt Lisa did not have one she was just Lisa. My uncle then said that my grandmother named her Lisa after Lisa Marie Presley (my babcia is a Elvis fan).

I know so many have great stories about here so I am hoping to get some and put a book together for her kids.....wish me luck

Back from Chicago

We flew in last night from Chicago. It was a long flight with Natalia, she did not cooperate at all. It was really nice to go back to Chicago, I just wish it was not for a funeral. I had a hard time seeing my Grandmother laying in a coffin. She didn't look like the Babcia we all knew. She wore her favorite flowered dress and she looked beautiful. A lot of people came and paid their respects, she was loved by so many people. I just kept crying because I could not believe that she was gone.

The family were being so supportive to many that came, they were really strong. Most had their moments but for the most part they comforted other's.

I had the privlage to read a scripture at her funeral that family had choosen. It was a reading from the prophet Isaiah: On this mountain the Lord of hosts will provide for all peoples A feast of rich food and choice wines, juicy, rich food and pure, choice wines. On this mountain he will destroy the veil that veils all peoples, The web that is woven over all nations; he will destroy death forever. The Lord God will wipe away the tears from all faces; The reproach of his people he will remove from the whole earth; fro the Lord has spoken. On that day it will be said "Behold our God, to whom we looked to save us! This is the Lord for whom we looked; let us rejoice and be glad that he has saved us!"

Most people know that I don't do tallks, but I got up there.

After the funeral everyone was able to relax a little and hang out and talk about memories we had of our Babcia. My cousin Nicole told me about a story about my Babcia, she said that around Christmas my Babcia opened one of her presents and it was a shirt, she put it on and went to Bingo then later that night put it back in the box and rewraped it so that no one knew that she peeked. I laugh at this because I am the same way I hate surprises so I will snoop(don't tell Jake I admited that). I heard so many great stories about her and most of them we all where able to just laugh, that woman was fun to be around.

It was really cold out in Chicago, it gave us a great opportunity to build a snow man. Of course it was not just your ordinary snow man, especially when Jake and Lorenzo get around. It was 17 degrees out there. I had Jake a picture of me with my jacket off then he ran from me so I froze a bit...

I will upload more picture's, the battery on my camera is low.

All in all it was a sad time but happy as well. My grandmother is at peace and with our Heavenly Father, she is probally challenging him to a game of Bingo...Watch out she's good.

Sad news

Yesterday was a hard day for my family. My Grandmother (Babcia) past away. A couple of days ago she had fallen and fractured her rib, she was not doing to well and my aunt and uncle had to call the ambulance. When she arrived at the hospital the doctor found blood in her stomach and an emergency surgery had to take place. While she was in recovery she had to have her dialisys and that made her more weak. After a day she was not healing and the doctors found that they would need to do another surgery and that she probally would not make it throuh that and it was her dialisys day as well. Every option that was available the out come was that she would pass away. This woman has always been a fighter, but I think she was done suffering.

Around 11:30 they took the tubes off of her and let her pass. Before she was gone my mom put the phone to her ear and let me and the kids say our goodbye's. I want to be there so bad but I had so many road blocks that made it impossible for me to go. Needless to say I am flying out to Chicago Thursday with my family to put my Babcia to rest. I was lucky to have her meet Jessica about 4 years ago. It made my Babcia's day, all she kept saying was "Oh my God". I wish she could of met my other two daughter's, but I know that she is watching over them for me right now.

Words can not express how I feel right now. Heavenly father wanted his angel to come home. Rest in Peace Babcia, We love you.

Happy Anniversay

Jake and Francesca 11-23-02

On November 23 2002 is the day that Jake and I got married. We met eachother back in high school. Funny but we both were dating someone. I had a crush on him and he knew that (jerk). After he got back from his mission I had split up from my ex and he was no longer with his so he asked me out (It must of been my personality he liked) yeah right. We dated for a while and then Holy Cow he asked me to marry him. I could not stop crying, I can still remember him trying so hard to surprise me. He tried to get my boss to let him ask me over the intercom but the boss was not okay with that. I was really confused when every hour I recieved some kind of flower arrangement from him, I had no clue what was going on. He was going to take me to dinner and do it but I was being difficult and did not want to go out so he came to my house and I was in my PJ's and he got on one knee at the door and asked me to marry him. 6 years 3 kids later we are still happy as ever and love eachother very much. To many more anniversary's...OXOXOXOX's

Twilight

Yes, it is true I went to see the movie....All of my friends kept talking about the books. I would see girls in my class with these books. So even though I did not read the books I went to see the movie. I was a little confused at times and it was a little cheesy but I had a blast with the girls and I like the story line....My sister wants to go again so of course I can't turn her down so I'm going to see it again (wink wink). This also made me think about how much I miss my friends and how I need to get out more with them.

Tee Hee

Life has been so busy in the Milhoan residence. Jake has been working like crazy and is now working 6 to 7 days a week. I have been busy with school, oh math sucks by the way. The kids think that telling on each other won't get them in trouble.

I have decided that my oldest and middle child can not sit next to eachother anymore. Jake and I have been looking for a new SUV, we figure we can seperate them by putting them in a DIFFERENT ROW. Not only do we need the room but I need my sanity. It would be nice to go one car ride without saying "Kaelyn leave Jessica alone" or "Jessica just give it to her". My little Kaelyn is a little terror lately. She does melt my heart with those blue eyes and the "Hi Mommy" right after she did something wrong.

Tonight we all knelt down to pray and Kaelyn has been volenteering a lot lately. Jake says I have a hard time keeping a straight face when she says prayer. I'm sorry but when she says Dear Heavenly father it sounds like Dear Harry Potter. She is so adorable her little voice just puts a smile on my face.

Banned from Walmart

BANNED FROM WAL MART

This is why women should not take men shopping against their will.

After I retired, my wife insisted that I accompany her on her trips to Wal-Mart. Unfortunately, like most men, I found shopping boring and preferred to get in and get out. Equally unfortunately, my wife is like most women - - she loved to browse. Yesterday my dear wife received the following letter from the local Wal-Mart.

Dear Mrs. Samsel,

Over the past six months, your husband has been causing quite a commotion in our store. We cannot tolerate this behavior and have been forced to ban both of you from the store. Our complaints against Mr. Samsel are listed below and are documented by our video surveillance cameras.

1. June 15: Took 24 boxes of condoms and randomly put them in people's carts when they weren't looking.
2 . July 2: Set all the alarm clocks in Housewares to go off at 5-minute intervals.
3. July 7: Made a trail of tomato juice on the floor leading to the women's restroom.
4. July 19: Walked up to an employee and told her in an official voice, 'Code 3 in Housewares. Get on it right away.'
5. August 4: Went to the Service Desk and tried to put a bag of M&M's on layaway.
6. August 14: Moved a 'CAUTION - WET FLOOR' sign to a carpeted area.
7. August 15: Set up a tent in the camping department and told other shoppers he'd invite them in if they would bring pillows and blankets from the bedding department.
8. August 23: When a clerk asked if they could help him he began crying and screamed, 'Why can't you people just leave me alone?'
9. September 4: Looked right into the security camera and used it as a mirror while he picked his nose.
10. September 10: While handling guns in the hunting department, he asked the clerk where the antidepressants were.
11. October 3: Darted around the store suspiciously while loudly humming the ' Mission Impossible' theme.
12. October 6: In the auto department, he practiced his 'Madonna look' by using different sizes of funnels.
13. October 18: Hid in a clothing rack and when people browsed through, yelled 'PICK ME! PICK ME!'
14. October 21: When an announcement came over the loud speaker, he assumed a fetal position and screamed 'OH NO! IT'S THOSE VOICES AGAIN!'
And last, but not least .
15. October 23: Went into a fitting room, shut the door, waited awhile, then yelled very loudly, 'Hey! There's no toilet paper in here!'

Regards,
Tom Richards

Love the October month

Jake and I have been so busy with work and school that we finally took a family day this last Saturday to go to Lombardi Ranch with our family. My mom and dad went as well as Jake's mom and dad. It was really nice to see how they changed things around there. Jake ran around with the girls to find their pumpkins and climb over anything they could.

I love seeing all the pumpkins and families smiling and having a great time with their little ones. I running into old friends and catching up. I love just having my family, I couldn't ask for more.

Decoration Time

So I get home after a meeting I had today and Jake has all of our Halloween decor out. Last year for Christmas I bought Jake a ton of Halloween decor so that he can decorate the front yard. I had a 80% off coupon for the Spirit store so I went crazy the day after Halloween sale.

The girls where having so much fun dressing in old Halloween costumes that Cindy has made in the past for them. Jake and I also got to join in the fun and put on some wigs....lol He is going to kill me when he finds out I posted these pictures.

Hopefully no one steals any of the decor he puts in the front yard. And if any of you want to stop by to see his master piece come on down.

My brother's wedding

My brother finally got married last weekend October 4th. Is was really beautiful. Cindy (my mom inlaw) did the flowers and made my s their dresses. It was a pretty busy day.

Kellie looked absolutely perfect and my brother looked handsome. Of course my husband was the most handsome guy there....lol

My mom and dad where emotional but happy, there was a lot of memories made that night that
I will cherish for ever. Also the photographer was amazing. Check out her blog at jenosullivanphoto.blogspot.com

My daughter

I have been trying to doing homework lately and this morning the girls wanted to watch Goonies so I took advantage of it and popped the movie in and sat at the table and study. Well Jessica walks up to me after a while and says "mommy can I build a house out of the pillows"? I say sure. After a while of stupid math problems I walk in the other room and Jessica says "mommy you like my house, I couldn't build a temple cuz I didn't have enough pillows so I built a house what do you think"? I thought it was so funny.

Yesterday in church we had a lesson on paying attention to the moment and to take some time to enjoy. I really liked the lesson and it has made me more aware of how I am so busy and fail to take the time I should with my kids.

Birthday Surprise

My Birthday Surprise!

Jake surprised me with opening tickets to the laugh factory in Long Beach. People like Dane Cook, Jaime Kennedy, Jon Leavitz where some that where suppose to be there. Anyways we got to have balcony seats with free appetizers, dessert and drinks. It was really fun, Jake and I never go out anymore so this was a treat.

Some of the people that where suppose to perform where not there so I got a little upset because Jake paid a lot of money because specific comedians where going to be there. I wrote a letter to the manager and he gave us VIP tickets to go again and apologized.

Peace and Quiet

Last night I was trying to study for my math test and the kids where just everywhere. Finally Jake and I got them settled down in their beds. After prayer, story, water and hugs and kisses they finally fell asleep.

PEACE AND QUIET!

Homework

Doing homework is always fun at our house. It always ends up in a fight...lol Kaelyn loves to do what ever big sister is doing, and she does not take no for an answer. Today Jessica had to color for homework and Kealyn wanted to join. so I found scratch paper and Kaelyn went to town.

They where so proud of their work.

The joys of having children, I'm sure it will be an adventure when Natalia gets older.

Big Bear

Last weekend we all went up to Big Bear with some friends. It was so nice to just get away and relax. Well not really relax the babies where not feeling too well and no one really got any sleep, but it was still a really great weekend. The view from the back porch was amazing.

The weather was just perfect for wearing a sweat shirt, and it was nice to pig out on what ever I wanted. Of course I was regretted it later but I still enjoyed every bite. :) It was really nice Jake and Wes did a lot of cooking while the girls got to hang out.

We got to go on the Alpine slides, and the kids loved it. I didn't get any pictures but if you ever go to Big Bear you have to try it. Just use your breaks..lol We also got to do a bit of shopping.

My girls had such a great time. They had a great time playing with Kohl. And little Talia had a playmate to, her little buddy (Logan) was born a week before her. It was neat to see these two little guys playing with eachother. They actually where really well behaved. Sorry I sound so amazed but Jessica and Kaelyn have been fighting so much lately. It has been hard for me.

All in all I got to meet some really great people and have a nice get away.

THE WAY YOU LOOK TONIGHT

This was the song that my father and I danced to at my wedding......

Some day, when I'm awfully low,
When the world is cold,
I will feel a glow just thinking of you...
And the way you look tonight.

Yes you're lovely, with your smile so warm
And your cheeks so soft,
There is nothing for me but to love you,
And the way you look tonight.

With each word your tenderness grows,
Tearing my fear apart...
And that laugh that wrinkles your nose,
It touches my foolish heart.

Lovely ... Never, ever change.
Keep that breathless charm.
Won't you please arrange it ?
'Cause I love you ... Just the way you look tonight.

Mm, Mm, Mm, Mm,
Just the way you look to-night.

Playing Dress up....

Jake and I where in the other room trying to set our new vanity in the bathroom when all of a sudden I hear "MOOOOOOOOOOOOOM" "COME HERE, I WANNA SHOW U SOMETHING" So I walk to Jessica's bedroom to see what is going on. Jessica proceeds to tell me that she dressed Kaelyn and Natalia so we can go to the park. "They look great MOMMA"

Both girls are dressed alright. Natalia is wearing a Hooter's shirt that their Uncle Brandon bought them from Texas with a Pair of Dora underwear on her head and Kaelyn has a 18 month old top on with the bottoms on her head. Needless to say I hope that my daughter does not get into fasion because we will be in trouble.

Painting

We are doing a lot of remodeling in our house, and it has been really hard with 3 kids running around. Either Jake is doing the work while I watch the kids or we find away to keep them busy so we can both do work and get things done faster. It is pretty easy to keep the to older girls busy but Natalia is a little harder to keep busy for a long period of time.

Since Natalia was born we have put our baby back pack to great use. We never really used it with the other 2 girls as much.

On Tuesday Jake was home during the day and we tried to get as much done as we can. So we started to paint Natalia's room and the bathroom. Jessica and Kaelyn where great all day but little Miss Talia needed attention. In order to have both of us working we needed to keep her busy so Jake popped her in the baby back pack and went to work.

I still laugh when he puts her in there. She actually really loves it. She just laughs and wiggles around. As you can see she is getting a little big for the back pack. Hey she is a solid 20lbs! lol

Disneyland

The girls and I have been wanting to go to Disneyland for a while now so we decided to go yesterday. It was so fun, I was a little scared when I saw so many cars there but it turned out great. The lines where not so bad. We had Grandma Milhoan come along for the ride and baby Natalia got to hang out with my dad for the day.

The kids love the petting zoo there. Kaelyn loved to pet the goats and hug them. She laughs when they run from her lol.

The girls did not know which way to go, they where so excited. Towards the end of the night We went over Tomorrow land to listen to the band play and that is where little Miss Kaelyn was shakin her stuff on the dance floor. At one point she grab a little boys hands and started to dance. It was the cutest thing ever. At least she will dance at my brother's wedding, that girl is not shy.

Thank you Jake for buying us our passes :)

Kealyn gets her 2 years shots!

What an interesting morning. I had to take my 2 year old to get her shots. We get there and of course have to wait for ever because you know I have an appointment and people with appointments are suppose to wait forever. Have you ever had to wait in a waiting room with 3 kids under the age of 4 before? NOT WHAT I WANT TO DO. Finally I get in there and get to wait more. The doctor there is great she checked Kaelyn out and was impressed on how much she has grown. She is 27 lbs and is 37inches, apparently she is tall for a 2year old. She only had to get 1 shot today but it hurt and she cried for a bit :(.

As I was leaving with one baby in a car seat the other crying at my leg and the oldest asking for CANDY, the nurse stops me to say Mrs. Milhoan your insurance said that you reached your minimum in shots for Kaelyn...WHAT ARE U TALKING ABOUT? Here we go again Lineco and how unorganized they are. I said no my daughter has coverage $1000.00 a year for shots. So already frustrated with 2 kids crying and one getting antsie I have to call Lineco to see what is going on. I guess they failed to tell me $1000.00 is lifetime not per year. GREAT! $235.00 later I am crying in the parking lot trying to call Jake. If only people knew how much these Lineman pay towards their insurance you would just die. Lineco is the worst, I am grateful to have insurance but I am sick of dealing with incompetent people every time i call.

I could of gone to the free clinic and not have had to spend that much on 1 shot, just one shot,,,,,still can not believe it. I hate Lineco! I need to get a petition signed and get the Union to get a real insurance company.
