Bitter, frustrated and annoyed

Dear Mrs. Cowell,

Thank you for the acceptance letter for the Spring semester, I've been looking forward to receiving it. Unfortunately, I'm going to have to defer till the following semester. Due to issues concerning child care the Spring semester would be an impossible time for me to attend. These issues will not be a problem come Fall semester. At that time, I will be prepared and able to give it my all.

Again, thank you for everything and I look forward to starting in Fall.

Everyone has their struggles in life and this is mine. I have been consumed in so much lately that I have a lot of anger in me. Having to do this was the topping on the cake!

Wedding part 4

Friday was a busy day, my cousin picked me up in the morning to go get a manicure and pedicure. Much needed time spent with her. The nail people were hilarious and the older woman were giving us marriage advice, polish old woman crack me up. When we got done we ran more errands and stopped at the hall to see them set up a bit, it was really neat seeing the before it was decorated room. When we got home my parents and Jake went to Portillo's and brought hotdogs back. I swear we ate all day long on this trip. Later in the evening we took the kids to see a movie and later Jake took them bowling while I helped my cousin set her hotel room up. Today was my anniversary and we didn't get to do much, I went down to the restaurant when Jake got back and ordered pizzas and there my family was hanging out and I got to meet Jimmy. Jimmy is my cousins ex boyfriend, he was so nice and when he saw me buying the food he ran up and covered the bill for me. So nice of him, I was mesmerized by his pinky ring, 3 carat diamond in black gold...sheesh!

Wedding part 3 Thanksgiving Day

Thanksgiving Day we spent it at my Aunt Tina's and the whole family came over for some great food. Because of the wedding and craziness my aunt ordered the dinner, it was fabulous! The kids ate everything even the darn cake my cousin made. Baby Jake would follow me around with a plate saying cake, I'm convinced it was made of crack. Before we ate dinner we took a ride to the cemetery to visit my grandparents and spend some time there looking around. Talia got hurt and she was showing us where, it had to be on the middle finger. After dinner was done more family came by and we had a great time laughing and my cousins were doing impressions of people which carried on for the weekend. Diana and Kelsey flew in today and were able to make it for the fun too.

Wedding part 2

Today was the rehearsal dinner, my cousin in I decided to go to the mall because our outfits were not as fun as we wanted them to be haha. Jake took the kids and ran around outside and my cousin and I headed to the mall. It was so fun to shop with her and talk for a bit without anyone around. When we got back the kids were still running outside with my cousins son Bobbie and it was time to get ready for the rehearsal. When we got there everyone was there, it was crazy busy with 19 couples that were standing up with the addition of junior bridesmaids and ring boys. The kids had fun running around and  got to learn a bit about the Catholic church. At the rehearsal dinner there was 120 people and the food was AMAZING, people were laughing and loud. I got to meet the grooms family and they were very welcoming. The kids were defiantly loved by the family and it made me so happy to have them there.

Wedding part one

So finally the day came to leave for Chicago! All the preparation for this day kept me pretty busy for a while. The kids needed winter clothes, Jake needed a suit etc. I look back and to me it was fun putting everything together to go. The kids were very well behaved and excited to go on a plane, this was Jessica's second time to Chicago but felt like her first because she was too little to remember. When we got in the terminal we grabbed some food and let the kids run for a while. Jake stopped a local shop and bought the baby some hot wheels that was a lifesaver, so now he has 50 million and 1 cars. On the plane Jake got out the IPOD, IPADS and phone and the kids were entertained to whole way there. Baby Jake was so excited that he was screaming a lot of "OHHHH's" and "Wing, mama's" for the first half. The kids fell asleep and so did we, the flight was only 3 1/2 hours long but went by fast. During the time Talia got sticker crazy on her dad and decorated him haha

November happenings

The holidays are always so busy for me and my family.I think I try to cram so much because it is such a great time that I can go over board but it is so worth it. Talia had her Thanksgiving feast at school where they put on a little show then had food after. She was so proud of her little outfit and looked super cute. Jessica is now in Activity Day girl and she made this cute wreath that is proudly hung in my kitchen. Tonight we had a "Friendsgiving" that I hope continues every year. The kids had a blast and the house was absolutely perfect. My friend Rachels mom lives in Acton in the most amazing house ever. Defiantly an entertainment home! Some of our close friends came and it really did feel like Thanksgiving when I was a kid, everyone hanging out playing games, kids running/crying. Such business it made me tear up. I was bummed that Jake was not there but I have a yummy plate waiting for him in the fridge. Jessica had a soccer game today and it was in the rain, holy muddy batman. Baby Jake decided that the puddle of dirt and him had to play and he was nasty dirty by the end of the game. Jake is now working for Hampton Tedder and I LOVE IT. It is a mom and pop shop company and they take care of their employees. The girls and I went out to see Twilight, never a dull moment with these woman. I needed the laughs and company, oh and half dress vampires and wolfs helped out as well haha. Last but not least, baby Jake licking the shopping cart at Kohls was gross but picture worthy. Lets hope he doesn't get sick!
