Not a fun day for Jessica

Today I picked up Jessica from school and her teacher told me that Jessica had been complaining about her "new cavity". Our friends that were visiting pointed out the spot and it was one of the tooths that was filled about 8 months ago. It looked horrible! So I called around to find someone to get her in ASAP. Thanks to good friends I was able to call a couple of places and I got her in to Adventure Dental. Now this dentist office is AWESOME. They had video games in the waiting room tv's that hang above you so you can watch a movie and the dentist can work on your teeth. Yeah, I need to tell my dentist to upgrade, all I see when I get dental work is up his nose.

So after a fun time in the waiting room with Kaelyn and Natalia (being sarcastic here) the dentist tells me that we should pull the tooth and put a spacer in. The first thing I thought was oh great Jessica is gonna freak out then I thought how much is this going to cost me. The dentist did the procedure with laughing gas and some knubing stuff and she did excellent. When I came back in the room she was crying a little and I asked her what was wrong she said "the kids at school are going to make fun of me". I asked her why and she said "because I have no tooth". Just so you know this is one in the back of her mouth.

After all the fuss she was telling everyone that came over to visit tonight about her missing tooth

This is the end result. She is never getting candy again....She is my little Miss Willy Wonka~

Letter's to Santa

It's that time to find out what the girls want from Santa, so we got out the crayons and paper and started to make our list.
Emma, Kaelyn and Jessica were hard at work. Jessica now wants a Snuggie for Christmas, she has no clue what that is but her new friend Emma told her all about it. It was really nice to have Jake's old missionary companion and his family to visit with us for the weekend. Time to mail out these letter's, the girls were so excited that Santa was going to drop by and get them. They even put the flag up on the mail box.

This is Jessica's letter: Dear Santa .....Radio, make-up....love Jessica. This was short and sweet~

A trip to the mall to see Santa

Today we took a ride to see Santa at the mall and get a few pictures. Some friends from out of town joined us for the fun Daddy with Talia, she refused to look at the camera.
Sister love. They had fun touching everything in line, at least they stopped for a photo. The kids new found friend Emma....She is a little cutie!
Talia is acting out at a young age. Everytime we say "say cheese" this is what we get. What a ham!

We need to work on our picture faces.

Happy Thanksgiving...

Hope everyone has a relaxing Thanksgiving....

I just want to say that I am so thankful for my husband and kids. Sometimes you forget the little things and get wrapped up in the not so important things. I am very blessed to have all that I do.
To start off our morning we watched a little bit of the Macy's Day parade. The girls loved it! They kept screaming from the other room "Mommy, you have to see this". We got to go to my sister inlaw's mom's house for some wonderful Thanksgiving dinner, and to top it off the girls played a little bit of ring around the rosie. Nothing like some pie and whip cream, only problem is they only at the whip cream.
After a great time with family we headed to California City with my brother and his wife to go dirtbiking. Is was a little cold and the kids wanted me to take a picture. It was so cold I think it hurt her to smile here. Jessica had a hard time with it being so dark, so my wonderful brother thought it would be funny to tell her that he would bring the moon out for light and mooned her. Yeah after that one the girls had the giggles and I could not get them to be. Thank you Lorenzo!
Riding the 50 with daddy. Kaelyn did not want to get off.

Jessica and Uncle Renzo, I think this is one of my favorite picture's.

Our little family picture, this should of been our Christmas card haha

Memories

From time to time I think about things that have happened over the years and I always say I need to write them down. I am going to add to this list as I go so that I don't forget.

*I remeber when the doctor was telling me that I was ready to push and meet my new baby (Jessica) and I was like "Oh wait, I'm not ready to be a mom". I was so scared and didn't know what to do. Then when I saw her I was like wow, I baked a cute baby and that fear went away.

*When I met Jakes family for the first time I was so excited to be able to know such a happy family. Everyone got along and loved getting together. (times have changed haha)

*When Jake told me about getting into the JATC apprenticeship I was really scared that he would not make more than he was making at Archer's. Then he got his first paycheck and I was VERY happy..hahaha

*Jake got hurt at work and his boss called me and told me where they were taking him. I started to cry and stress out. When I got there he had great co workers that were in the waiting room and I was able to go back there. He had me take a picture of his leg and then he yelled at me because the girls and I painted his toe nails blue the night before and he didn't realize it till that day when the doctor took his work boot off.

*Jessica's first day of Kindergarten. I was so sad that she was going to be at school all day and I was sad she was growing up....I even cried!

*Kaelyn and Jessica were screaming in the kitchen about a spider and I walked in there and freaked out and said "Oh S*&#" because it scared me and all you hear coming from Talia's room was the same words I said over and over again. Jake walked in the room and said "Nice one Fran"...

*When Jake tried so hard to propose to me and kept running into so many obstacles. He finally gave up and came to my house and got on one knee at the front door and asked me to marry him...I was in my PJ's and all I could do is cry! He gave me a heart shaped jewelry box with the LA Temple engraved on it with my ring in it.

*Jessica got to be on the tv show ER and my mother inlaw was able to take her that day. Jessica was child number 11 and her tv mom was rushed into the ER after getting in a car accident. The tv mom was pregnant again...I could not help but think "Is she Mormon?" haha Well Jessica got a moment in the spot light where the Australian doctor kneeled down and said " And you must be Daisy, your mom talks alot about you" and Jessica smiled and nodded.....I was so excited, thanks to Jake's cousin Misty I have a copy of the show.

*Jessica was ready to kick the soccer ball to start the game and she looks over at me knods her head and gave me a thumbs up. It was as if she was telling me I'm going to dominate this game mama or maybe it was if I make a goal I get candy...haha

*Jessica came up to Jake and said "Daddy you need to shave your head, you look like a girl with a bald spot" After jessica made that comment Jake was in the bathroom with the shaver giving Jessica dirty looks. He even let her help and she got a little crazy and started to shave Jake's arm hair. I told him that it looks like he got in a cat fight. I could stop laughing at him, he says Jessica likes to torture him just like her mom...hahaha

more to come!

My mom

Every year my mom has the funniest costumes. Her and the ladies at her work always go all out and do something different every year. My mom one year put a bald cap on with a witch nose and my brother painted her whole head and face green. the kids at my mom's school could not even eat. That was awesome!
This year they were vampires. I love my mom!

Hailey and Brianna's blessing

Today we got to see the twins get blessed at church. They looked so cute! Cindy made their dresses and they were so beautiful. Russ did both blessing and Jake got to stand in.Mommy and Daddy with their little beauties. The family with Lisa's mom and step dad. I really like this picture of us all.
Little Miss Brianna was sleeping so I got to do a photo shoot with Hailey...It's she a cutie!

Trunk or Treat and Trick or Treating

Yes this month is a busy month in the Milhoan household. We love the holiday's and all the fun that it brings us. Today is Halloween and we made our day a busy one. In the morning we had a soccer game were the team did amazing, Jessica made 4 goals and was really getting into it. After that we went to CC2's Halloween Trunk or Treat. To finish the night off we made our way thru the neighborhood to collect some goodiess, grandma Milhoan came with us to join in the fun. My little lion and ballerina striking a pose for me. Talia really loved her costume. She learned this from Kaelyn, I hope that she will smile for family Christmas pictures without her hands in her mouth.

My three little monkey's. Again little Miss Talia has her hands in her mouth trying to make a funny face.
She got ahold of some fake vampire teeth and was trying to scare people.
First stop was grandma and grandpa's car.....Russ is hiding behind the blue blanket in the back. Cindy had the older kids reach in to get candy and Russ would jump out...so funny!
My family trick or treating, I think Jake got a good workout with the girls wanting to be carried. At one house they had a haunted house and the monster came out and said to the girls come in and they did not hesitate and walked in like it was no big deal.
The hard work the girls did trick or treating.....now time to hide the loot!

Pumpkin carving time

We waited till the last minute to do our pumpkin carving. It seems lately we have been so busy with life that we never have time for much anymore. Jake pulled out all the pumkin carving tools and we all got to work. I think that we got some really pretty pumkins this year. I just love the color of them and Jake loves the size. He says the bigger the better!
We gave the girls their own carving tools and they got to work, Jessica was really good about staying in the lines but Kaelyn kept stabing the pumpkin so I had to help.Kaelyn's finished product, she was so proud of her work. When we put the candle in it she was in awwww.
Jessica said that her's had to be scary so we gave her pumkin some fangs to go with his smile.
Our finished master peices twinkling in the night. Happy Halloween!

More Halloween fun!

On friday the night before halloween, Jake and I went to a halloween party. I was a 50's hop girl and Jake was a chick magnet. We had fun but left a little early, I was able to take some fun pictures while we were there. I didn't have a ton of time this week due to midterms in my Biology class, so I found somthing at party city that I know I will use again.
These are my friends Melissa and Jodie. I have know Melissa for years and she introduced me to Jodie. Jodie's parents go to my ward.
As you can see Jake's has a bunch of barbie's pinned to him, he is a Chick Magnet!
Love how the monster is wearing Jake's work shirt.
He is so goofy!
