Christmas fun

Our Elf Fred is back and this year was super fun with him. I was invited to a mom's group where women would share ideas for funny Elf Antics! Loved it and the kids did too.
The ward Christmas party was a success, Rachel did such a wonderful job putting it together and I know everyone that came loved it. The theme was The Grinch that stole Christmas, the kids got to dress in their PJs  and so many came. Jakes cousin Laura came down to hang out, I LOVE having her over. She is such a great Aunt to my kids and they love her around. She moved closer so I get to see her more often.

Random stuff

Since I have been out of school life is busier than ever. With the holidays here I try to squeeze in all the fun I can. Our good friend Liz had her two girls baptized at a local church, its been years since I have been to a Catholic baptism, I still remember a lot of the prayers they were saying. Liz is an amazing friend and I love her New York personality.
Jake helped his daddy hang our lights, I think I was yelling a lot trying to keep the kid from smashing them. During the lights being put up I went in the house to check on the other kids and there was Talia, dead asleep with a sucker in her mouth. I could have strangled her!
Hot coco is a way to two little handsome boys hearts! I needed something from the store and I got Cole and Jake hot coco. People were staring at them as we walked thru the store, two little cuties chatting it up.
Talia was willing to let me practice makeup on her. I was going to do Brother Duncans makeup for the ward party but I needed to try a practice and Talia had been begging me. I have so much fun doing it!

Thanksgiving/Dirt bike riding

Thanksgiving was really fun this year. We decided to go to the desert for some dirt biking in Cal City. We have taken the trailer out numerous times and its been a blast. This trip ended with a few accidents, Gun man broke his arm, Blake got stitches and Jeff swished his ankle. OUCH! Kelly and her family came out with Darrell and his girlfriend, they are such great friends to hang out with, always keeping you laughing. The kids played boarder patrol at night, we lit lanterns, ate like crazy and made memories. The Shaughnessy's stayed with us for the night, Jessica really loves hanging out with them and they are very well behaved kiddos.
For Thanksgiving we went back home for the day to eat dinner with the family. The Vincents came to town and it was super fun having them. I did meet up with some of my favorite Evan girls and did some damage at Target with them.
My good friend Jennifer is having her first baby, due to all the doubled up plans I made, I got to make a quick stop at her baby shower to spend time with her.
Im so very grateful for the memories and fun we have been having!

12 years

12 years married and 4 kids is what our life has blessed with. Jake and I defiantly fit well with each other. Im stubborn and her is easy going but we are both hard workers. This year for our anniversary Jake surprised me with dinner at The Stinkin Rose. The food was AMAZING and I loved spending it with him. Can't wait to spend many more anniversaries together.
