mothers day 2013

Today was really fun with the family. Church in the morning where the kids made crafts and the moms got a break. After church we went to my inlaws for dinner and just hung out. Jessica was able to get an early birthday present from her daddy (bike) which her face was priceless and cute. The day before we vistited with my mom and went to dinner with my inlaws.
I am so grateful for my children they are keeping me busy and I love all the moments we have even when I get stressed. These four munchkins are everything to me~

Easter

Easter was busy as usual but very fun. I got to go to breakfast with my mom then head to Joes for some horse riding, egg hunting, food eating fun. People were so partied out they were falling asleep everywhere. The kids loved the horses and wanted to ride them over and over. Kaelyn did get bucked off but got right back on.

catch up

Don't mess with Talia, she's cute when she sleeps~
I'm behind like crazy with this blog, there has been just no time to sit and breathe. These are some pictures from a trip with Melinda to the arboretum. Such a beautiful place to go, the kids love the peacocks and running down the trails. This was fun getting the kids together and being able to see one of my best friends.

Sunday parkway

I am really hoping that every Sunday this becomes a habit. Neal and Dan started this off by sending a mass text to everyone to come to the park and hand out on Sunday later after church and continued doing it for a few weeks and it has not become something I really look forward to. My kids love playing and the park is just perfect. It's defiantly relaxing and great to just sit and talk with the families and laugh. If this is a little taste to what summer will be like I am beyond excited about it.

Nathan's 8th birthday

As soon as we got the invitation I knew I needed to make room for this on our calendar. Raeann and Vicki know how to throw a party and they always make you feel very welcomed to be there. This year it was a Army themed party. The girls all had camo shirts, baby jake with the camo pants and mom and dad with the nifty custom made tee-shirts. Thanks to a great friends who guided me where to get shirts made and made super cute hair bows for my girls. This party was fully loaded, you had to get code names and a file made, boot camp was a must and major fun was in the books for all that came. The jumper for the party was longer than the house and there were over 300 hot dogs for the kids to chow down.
The heat was crazy so thank goodness for the pool. Jake to the baby in and the kids had a blast. It's always really great seeing Jake's cousins. We have so much fun with them and laughter is always in the cards. Baby Jake was determined to go skinny dipping. He was not happy to wear clothes at all, after a few attempts to show his family jewels he finally got in the pool and the shorts stayed on.
Hot dogs by the plenty were available but on the way home Jake and I needed a stop at Chill's.
