Fun Times

The last couple of weeks have been crazy with one event after another. These are just a few pictures off my phone that I wanted to put up. We had a birthday party at the Snows house it was really nice seeing everyone and admiring the new house they bought. They are an amazing family, they always make us feel welcome. Jakes cougar is getting put back together, so grateful that his parents are letting the mechanic help us out. My husband is amazing and 11 years ago he was going to fix it up but took the money and bought my engagement ring, it really makes me tear up over how much of a giving husband  I have.
Melindas wedding was a success, it was hard work but it was wonderful. I will put more pictures up when I get them. The next day I had a baptism to go to for my friends husband, I havent been to one in a while so it was nice to go. Last but not least Jessica's filling fell out and off to the dentist we go, she hates going. We are not looking into braces!!!!! This is exactly why I want to work and have double insurance one day, theses cute kids of mine are going to be expensive...haha

Here comes Talia

When I heard I could pick up the Kindergarten packet for Talia I wasted no time at all. I made her appointment at the doctors to see if she was up to date with shots and took the packet in to get her testing date. The adventure of going to the doctors was kind of a pain in the rear. As soon as she heard doctor she knew that shots might be in her future and decided to start freaking out. Baby Jake was the little ball of fire that he is and was all over the place and even decide to require a diaper change in all the chaos. The doctor tested her hearing and sight, she did great. Then the shots part, she was really hard to hold down but after the 3 shots and a few tears she was back to fighting with Jake. It's really going to be weird with 3 kids in school. I'm shocked how fast they are growing up, Jake loves it but I need my babies to stay small a little while longer.

Jen's wedding

What a wonderful day!! Today my friend Jen got married and what a busy day we all had. The morning was full of running around and setting up the house with last minute details. Thanks to my super duper friend Melissa and her creative talent, she made everything beautiful. So many helped, Melinda and I took pictures and did the food, Kristie was on hair and makeup and Valerie was the master mind to getting it all together. Great friends!
After the wedding Jake took me to dinner with the kids then we met up with Joe so I could get aunt and nephew time. Today was busy but perfect!

Things that made me smile in the last two days

I love the last two days, it has been fun watching others kids, seeing old friends from high school, a goofy husband that knows I love orange roses, chatting with ladies I consider hot only great friends but sisters and having family visit from out of town. The last two days have been busy but I would not have it any other way. As long as my life is filled with great memories and great people I am one content woman.
Brandon and his family just came by and it was great seeing them. I finally got to meet my niece Molly and hang out for a bit. My kids miss them and Brandon has always been a great Uncle to my kids. Christa is amazing and it bums me out she doesn't live closer, so when they come I try to do as much to make up for it.
Earlier in the day I met up with my friend Rashelle. I met her in high school and we were on the flag team together...yes flag team, no jokes please.

Never a dull moment

It has really been a busy week for me and I have to say that I am grateful that it is filled with amazing people and a positive busy. I have a test on Monday so my mind has been really occupied with getting things done and with my friend Melinda's wedding I have been going a million miles an hour getting everything done. On Thursday I got to watch my nephew Blake which was really great, he is such a cute little guy and I love spending time with him. He was my side kick for the day and I loved every minute of it. I was also able to spend time with my niece Katie, I really miss her and she finally called me Cocia. That was probably the best thing ever for me, she kept giving me kisses and I kept giving her cookies haha.
A couple of my friends and I went to see Safe Haven, so lucky to have these women in my life. With all the stress I needed some fun. It was good to laugh and spend time with a group of women that make my life better.
Melinda and the girls came over and it was wedding mode. 100 heart cookies and tons of catching up was in our cards for the night. Earlier Melinda got me to a Pilates class, highly recommend it, I'm still shaking from it.

Last but not least, Talia drew me a picture of her and I. It was just the perfect end to my day. She is an amazing little girl and she has a wonderful heart.

Clayton has turned 3 and we were able to come to his birthday party. The theme was pirate!

Melinda's Bachelorette party

What a fun night out this was, Melinda was shocked and had a great time. We all had so much fun and laughs to where my stomach still hurts. It was a BEAUTIFUL day! We rode horses up in the Hollywood mountains and that was a first for many of us. I have never rode a horse and my butt is hurting from it as we speak. When we came down the mountain we ended up at a little cantina and enjoyed some yummy food. I'm so grateful to have these group of girls in my life, they are full of energy and it's always a great time.
