My first baseball game

It was really nice to have someone out there that thinks of you every once in a while, even if they are not close with you they think of you. A friend of mine offered Dodger tickets to me and I figured I would try it out. Jake didn't want to go so I took Talia, baby Jake and my parents. I was surprised that the kids did so well, but after a while Talia was asking to go home. I like how relaxing the atmosphere is and it defiantly not as intense as a hockey or foot ball game. It was really fun and I would go again~

Field trip for Talia

I wasn't able to go on the field trip to Underwood farms but I'm grateful to know that there were people who went would keep a quick eye on Talia. Talia absolutely loves the Evans family, when ever she sees Cody or Cory she has to be right next to them. These are pictures that Cory and Laurel sent me and it cracked me up. Poor Cody!

updated life

I have been behind on blogging just due to being in the semester of school. We have had birthday's, make overs, shopping for makeup with daddy, completion of OB and talks in church. Just because the I was in school my personal life was extremely busy. I missed out on vacations and didn't see many people. I know its tuff now but I have been able to use my knowledge to help others and answer questions in regards to their health. Looking forward to the continuation of this journey, stress and all!

It's official!

What a long semester! It was like the song that never ends, my nerves were shot  by the end of this. I love being in the medical field but the stress is so thick. Today was my final and I woke up at 5am and the test wasn't till 8, I couldn't sleep. I studied so much and still felt very unprepared to take the test. Everyone was on edge, many of us only needed 30-40 points to pass. I needed 33 out of 75! Yeah, you would think that was not hard but it is. The test was so hard, I had to guess on a lot of questions! After the test I went with the girls to grab something to eat then needed to head back to get baby Jake. I didn't really eat, my nervous were a mess. I got home and picked up my son and headed home to clean. I cleaned the whole office and my bedroom. Sounds funny but I wanted no signs of books or flashcards in my way.  Rachel came by later on and I needed that hug from her, I was a hot mess.
I needed to go to a fundraiser for the school, Jake was working so I took the kids and headed up to Vince's in pdale. On the way there I got my grade......58! I was shaking, no joke! All of my friends passed some of the kids didn't and that was sad to see. I'm so glad I went to the fundraiser, I needed to unwind and just be with my kids.
I'm so grateful for my friends who have supported me this semester. I really have seen who cares and I love them so much for it.
So as of today I will be a 3rd semester student come August!!!! But for now, I'm on vacation!

School pictures

I didn't buy the pictures from the school but I did take a picture of them! Ha I know, I know I think they charge too much but I wanted to keep some kind of memory of them. These kids are getting so big. This morning they told me I need another baby in the house, I told them to tell their dad that!

Mud Run 2014

I'm so glad I signed the kids up for the Mud Run, so glad Nikki let me know about the event. I was worried that the kids would not like it and have a hard time running but I was wrong. Talia and Corrine did so well, watching them had Nikki and I cracking up. After Talia was done she asked to do it again. Jessica, Kaelyn and Taylor did the mile run and I wasn't sure if the mile was too long but the girls did great and I didn't have any complaints. While the older girls ran Nikki's mom took Talia and Corrine to rock climb, when I looked back I got a glimpse of Talia at the top of the rock wall, I have to say that Talia is really surprising me in doing it with no fear.
Hanging with the Pollards was a perfect Sunday outing and I really cannot wait to do this again. I got the times of the girls runs:
Jessica 24/40 at 20:50
Kaelyn 15/30 22:44
Till next year!

Spring break todo's

This week off started with a bang! Soccer, wedding setup, women's conference all in one day. Soccer was bright and early and cold, but Jessica did an awesome job. I think she has improved so much. A friend called me that day to ask if we could meet for lunch and talk nursing, so I went and I'm glad I did. It's nice to hear how others are doing in their venture and be able to relate to what they are having troubles in. . After the game we headed to Cindy's. I love weddings and helping out with the set up, so when Cindy mentioned she was doing one, I had to go. The arrangements were amazing and the location was perfect. I wasn't going to go to the woman's conference but I did. I didn't have anything ready for clothes and after trying to navigate jake thru my closet I decided to to a quick run to Old Navy and get a skirt and a shirt and treat my sister inlaw to one also and head to the church. I wasn't able to get much out of the talks, due to being late but it was nice to see people I know from other wards.
Easter Bunny was on our list of todo's, Baby Jake was very nervous at first but then Jessica picked him up and said "It's okay, he has candy," all was fine. We have officially hit the no crying when we see Santa, and Bunny stage.
Jake got this crazy idea to take the kids on a bike ride so we loaded their bikes and took them for a ride to Vons, they did good and Jake had to pick the two younger kids up a few times but we made it!
Kaelyn will be baptized soon so of course we need a fabulous dress, we tried to go to out local mall and well noting was good so Laurel and I hit the Burbank mall and found a really nice one for her. We had Cole come for the ride and he felt it was a thumbs up choice~~~~!
