Mead fun

The days got crazier and the kids smiles were bigger. I love how they all get along and there is no fighting. You would think with this many kids someone would get in a fight, but they didn't. Daddy wanted to get Talia a rash guard and when we were on the boat she kept trying to take it off. Jake turned to me and yells "Fran, why did you buy her a two piece?" Ha, not my fault buddy!!!! Daddy didn't look at what suit was attached to the"RASH GUARD" he bought. Talia wanted to show off the suit and I could not help but crack up.

More Mead

I look forward to this vacation every year and so do my kids. Baby Jake thinks we stayed at the temple, every time he say the outside of the building he would scream "Look the Temple!" When he was tired he would tell us "can we go to the temple to sleep?" We tried to correct him but he was set on the fact that it was the temple and that is where we were staying.

Get out of the house

We got to hang with some of the Evans clan today while Laurel did the fun dentist with Gunner and Gage. The girls wanted to play with my make up and shoes and do a pageant. The judges were Kenna and Kaelyn. They even had baby Jake compete. As Kenna was announcing him I could not help but laugh…"Here comes baby Jake our next contestant. He likes salami, ninja turtles and strawberries. Thank you baby Jake."

Thank you Nikki for invited us to swim. The kids love love love hanging out. And thank you to her cool dad for the popsicles, The kids paired up and took off. Summer, gotta love it!

Lake Mead fun

This was fourth of July for us! Raeanne, Jayson and family came out to hang out with us. It was so nice to hang out with them. We got to zip around the lake and wake board for a few hours before we headed out to get food and fireworks. The kids were so happy, there were tons of fireworks and the kids ran around like crazy. Cory got crazy and teased everyone with lighted fireworks at our feet so Rachel got him back with a cooler of cold water. It's cool having these families around, the hubby's feel like brothers to me. In all it was a fun night!

On our way home

On our way home from Lake Mead we stopped at the Bass pro shop and looked around for a bit. We love that place and there is so much to look at. When we left we could see the clouds coming in but I didn't think much about it. Well I quickly learned what a monsoon was. Of course the kids needed to pee so we pulled off and found a gas station where there was an over hang. That will keep us dry right?! Ha, no. As I jumped out of the truck a huge puddle was next to the truck, then when running to the Jack in the Box connected to the gas station the door was locked and a huge down pour happened. I was soaked, by the time the employees unlocked the door I looked like I jumped into a swimming pool. FUN TIMES!!! Oh, by the way, all of our clothes were in the back of the truck completely drenched and we had nothing to change into.
Our next fun time event was after we got out of the storm there was a dust storm...Fabulous, the boat and truck were looking great after that. haha
We finally got home and cleaned up. Jake found a baby lizard that became the highlight of the night. Always an adventure on our trips but I would not replace the memories.
