Trying to stay on track
I'm so tired lately! I thought the kids back in school would be a breath of fresh air but it's been alot harder. I've been running around ragged and I feel like there is no light at the end of the tunnel. Jake has been working like crazy so I don't see much of him and the weather SUCKS!
On Sunday as we were getting ready for church Talia was sitting on the floor and she looked up at me and said "Uh Oh mommy," she had peed her pants. Lately she has been HORRIBLE with peeing the toilet and Jake and I thought it was lazyness. Boy we were wrong! I finally had enough and took her to the Urgent Care, all the way there Talia was balling because she associates the doctor with shots. When we got there she calmed down and the doctor tested her urine and sure enough UTI. I have had her on the antibiotics for the last 3 days and she has been excellent, no wet undies :)
Today I recieved Jessica's homework packet from her teacher with a note that says she is behind in school. WHAT! I was like, you have only seen her for what four days. I called the teacher and spoke with her regarding this and she said that Jessica was not focused in class. So like any concerned mom I asked her what I could do to help or what can we change with her in class. The teacher responds "I have 29 students in class, I cannot focus only on Jessica." Oh snap did she just say that to me. That is when pist off mom came out and got stern. I told her that I was not going to let my child fail because there are too many students in her class and with that her attitude changed and then proceeds to tell me that she has only been in class 4 days and it's best we give it time...WHAT THE HELL LADY! If she has only seen Jessica 4 times she needs to get a clue herself. With that I wish I was rich to put her in private school, I wish I could volunteer more, I wish there was two of me and more hours in the day.
I feel like a ton of bricks are on my back and I'm trying to stay afloat. Most would say you should just not do school but sorry that is my time to get out of the house. I think it's only fair!

Little Stinker
My friend and I were studying the other day and I looked over and saw this cute little monkey in my cabinet. We watched him for a while and laughed at how determined he was to get everything out of that shelf. I didn't realize that boys are this active, jacob is in everything and he finds everything to put in his mouth.

Stressed Out
Not very happy today! I have a major test on September 30th and it's not going well. There is alot of Biology and the book that we have to study from is not preparing me for this test. There are example pre-tests online and I didn't see this in the book. I feel like crying at this point because the outcome does not look good and 3 years of school looks like a waste of time...This sucks!

First day of school 2011
Summer went really fast but in a way I'm very glad it's over. The vacation was fun with family and friends and tons of activities but there was only so much I could keep up with.
Jessica and Kaelyn are back in school and this time Jessica is in 2nd grade and Kaelyn is a Kindergartner.
The girls were very excited to go back and Jessica had a hard time sleeping because of it. I read the girls a book and they were off to bed. My mommy duties were not complete yet and lunches and outfits needed to be laid out. Let's face it, I was going to have a hard time waking up too and I didn't want to forget anything.
When we walked into the school gates Kaelyn turned to Jake and said "Daddy, look at all my new friends." If any of you know Kaelyn, you'll know that she is very friendly and loves to play.
Natalia wanted to get into all the excitment and packed her backpack and got dressed as well. Surprisingly she was really good about leaving, I thought she was going to freak out that she was not staying to go to school. On the walk back to the car there was no fighting, it was heaven. Talia played really great with the baby and I got to have a bit of peace till 2:15 :)
The girls told me that they had a great day when I picked them up. I asked Kaelyn if she got into trouble and she said that she got out of line to hug Jessica and Mrs. Evans said "Now Kaelyn you can't get out of line"...lol She said she will stay in line from now on.
