Visit to Liz's class

I remember as a kid that I loved when we would have someone come talk to our class and we didn't have to to do work for a hour, freedom! Well Liz asked if I would come talk to her Advid class about nursing. I was hesitant at first because we just were getting ready to start 4th semester and I had a lot to do. But if you know me, you know I said yes. I asked Meghan, Tina and Scott to come along and we put together a great slide show and had some videos for the kids. We even got them involved when they saw candy and free shirts. It was an amazing experience and I appreciated all the letters from the kids, it gave me my motivation to finish school.

Car show

Jake took the kids to the Pomona car show. Russ and Roy have been working on this mustang for a while and it was finally show ready. The car won first in its category!!!! I hope one day Jake can get his Cougar done, I know its a dream of his.

Poor Kaelyn

I knew Kaelyn needed to eventually get braces, her teeth were not so bad but then Talia was chasing Kaelyn and "some how" Kaelyn "accidentally" got kicked into a wall and Kaelyns teeth got a little loose and started to buck out. Poor kid never made comments about it but then recently I have heard her express she wanted to to fix her teeth. I remember when I was younger and in 5th grade there were some kids that were jerks to me and I hated it. So mama bear here, made an appointment and Kaelyn is now in the brace face club and we are on the road to getting her teeth straight. Baby Jake was unsure of what was going on but was concerned about how she was doing and had to watch his big sister.

Life and its chaos

Season is over and Kaelyn had fun. The team party was at the bowling alley!

I wanted a super great Christmas card with us all looking perfect but life got busy and I wanted to send out a Christmas card so, this is what I thought would be a better idea.

Talia HAD to have an American Girl doll….WHAT THE HECK~ Jake and I went to get it and we had fun.

Diet Coke and cupcake baking, perfect after school fun~

Dentist appointment time and I rushed to get them in at the end of the year. Final school 1 kid out of four had a cavity…..Guess who had two!? The kid who fell asleep with a sucker in her mouth, thats who!

I call this a fun DECEMBER!

fun on the run

December has been filled with fun and we are trying to do so much that I think I was burning out from it all. We went to Wakefield Court to see the Christmas lights with some of our favorite friends. The people on this street are defiantly awesome and have a lot of patience with all the traffic that comes in and out of there.
I had the Evans and McCormick kiddos with me so we went to the Canyon girls soccer game. They had fun and I was in awe at the girls that played. They are really good! They kids got a picture with Karlie's sister and they were tickled by the idea of an old girl soccer play taking a picture with them.
Jake was able to meet us to get our tree, it was a bit hectic and I was done for the day so i made everyone force a smile then got them in the car haha

Christmas fun

Our Elf Fred is back and this year was super fun with him. I was invited to a mom's group where women would share ideas for funny Elf Antics! Loved it and the kids did too. 

The ward Christmas party was a success, Rachel did such a wonderful job putting it together and I know everyone that came loved it. The theme was The Grinch that stole Christmas, the kids got to dress in their PJs  and so many came. Jakes cousin Laura came down to hang out, I LOVE having her over. She is such a great Aunt to my kids and they love her around. She moved closer so I get to see her more often.
