Jessica's first soccer practice
Today Jessica had her first soccer practice with her team All American Girls. She was having so much fun and was doing a great job. All the little girls on her team are such sweet girls and they all get along so well.
Coach Eddie had them running drills and doing sprints. Us parents loved it because he was getting all that energy out of them :)

Santa Monica
Uncle Brandon and us on the pier...so fun!
After a great breakfast at IHOP with my inlaws we took a trip down to Santa Monica Pier.. It really was beautiful down there, the weather was a little chill then it it burned off and it was clear blue sky. I haven't been there in a while and my friend Melinda has never been there so what a great day to go.

We took a great walk on the pier and the kids got to go on some rides and of course we had to have our funnel cake. It was nice to sit and watch all the people walking up and down and all the different carts that are there.
On our way back to the truck we went to the promenade to check out some shops and watch the street performers. Jessica and Kaelyn got to give a little monkey money and the little guy would shake their hand. Jessica was like I don't know about this but Kaelyn was all over it and probally would of hugged it.
Natalia was sleeping here but we managed to get a really cute picture.

Jessica's first day of Kindergarten
Yes, this was the day I was dreading....Jessica is a Kindergartener...How did the time fly, I swear it was just yesterday that I was at the doctor's office trying to get Jake to believe me when I told him I was really pregnant and that I was not joking....
In the morning her daddy made her waffles and she was all smiles, but because we were out of syrup Jake used honey...let's just say you can't fool Jessica, she didn't eat it. On a good note Kaelyn did.
The traffic by the school was crazy and I was looking around for the kids that were crying while holding their mom's leg. The good thing was I only saw one kid doing that, I didn't want Jessica to get freaked out and be like, where is my mom leaving me!
When I went to pick her up she gave me a great big hug and said "Mommy, I didn't say any bad words and I ate all my food except the fruit cup daddy put in my lunch". She told me she had a great time and all I kept hearing about was Mrs. Evans...
Jessica the night before wanted to help me make her lunch. She wanted ham and mustard sandwiched cut into the shape of a pumpkin...Thank goodness for Halloween cookie cutter's...
When we got there here teacher Mrs. Evans waved at us and said that Jessica needed her name tag on and to sign in. Jessica was still a little unsure but she kept a smile on her face. A volunteer took our family picture and then it was time to have Jessica go to class.
As I walked her to the door Mrs. Evans said "Don't cry" it made me laugh then I kissed Jessica and she went in. I turned to Jake and I started to cry.......I'm so proud of my little girl
Trip to the Skirball
On Wednesday we went to the Skirball Museum to check out the Noah's ark exibit. I always hear people say that is was fun so I decided to take a trip down their. Nicole came with her kids and my mom and my brother inlaw Brandon came along aswell.
I love this picture~
It was really neat to see all the different animals that were made of recycled objects, and all the hands on stuff for the kids to mess with. Some of the things that the kids liked was helping building the Ark, putting the animals on the conveyor belt, climbing inside the Ark and story time.
Talia loved climbing on everything, she was not happy when we had to leave...
I just love this little girl, she was having so much fun here.
My mom trying to help the girls make a prayer bottle....
It was really nice ending summer with going to the Skirball....

Uncle Brandon's new hair style
I was in the other room working on some todo list stuff and I hear Jessica say "Kaelyn get the brush, we need to style Uncle Brandon's hair." So I grab my camera and run into the other room and this is what I saw.
Natalia want to help aswell so Brandon being such a good sport he sat there and let her style also.
We love when Uncle Brandon comes to visit, the girls love spending time with him....

Jake's twin
I get a kick out of my kids and my husband. I always tell people how my kids look like their dad and have my attitude...Scary combo!
Our little Kaelyn is such a doll she tends to fall asleep just about anywhere just like her daddy. If you look at later posts of mine you will see Jake sleeping in the most weird places. I always tease him about it. Today he was helping me in my primary class and he actually fell asleep while reading the lesson to the class. I didn't realize what was going on until I heard one of my students say "Do you need help with a word, i can ready it for you". I looked over at Jake and he was sleeping while he was holding the lesson manuel. I couldn't contain my laughter after that.
When I walked into the kitchen I found Kaelyn sitting on a stool with sun chips still in her hands. I made Jake take a picture near her to show that she is just like her daddy.

First Offical Day
On August 2, 2009 Natalia was able to go to her first day in nursery. She turns 18months on the 5th so I figured that she was close enough. The kids and I went to Canyon Country 2nd ward with family and she got to go to Sister Byers nursery class. Sister Byers is so well organized that i even want to stay.
Kaelyn was also in class with her, it was really fun to watch them play. I almost started to cry so I left, they are getting so big and it is happening way to fast for me.
They did singing, stories, projects and best of all snack time. She got to have Oreo's, manderine oranges and gramcrackers. Talia is just like her daddy she mowed down her Oreo's like someone was trying to steal it from her.
