Big Bear trip

Thanks to our wonderful friends the Sons Family, our family was able to hang out in Big Bear for the New Year. I love going up there and enjoying the snow and the company.
The WII master bowling his great game.
It wouldn't be a trip to the mountain without poor Jake getting hurt....This was taken after he bruised his tailbone he was trying not to laugh, I'm so darn funny just ask him.

It's only fair that I put a picture of when Kaelyn and I crashed.
Our future snowboarder Talia.
Jessica and I with the beautiful Big Bear lake behind us
And this is how daddy bruised his tail bone.

Rainy day chaos

Oh my goodness it needs to stop raining....My girls are going cazy and are so bored. Today was the top of the cake, it all started with this morning. I went to take Jessica to school and I let the other two girls sleep in (uncle Brandon was home, I didn't leave them unattended) and when I got back Jake was home because he got rained out and all he said to me was "Get your camera and go in your room". Great what is that suppose to mean? Well Talia got into my makeup and took black eyeliner and marked up her face her words to me were "Pitty mommy". Okay it was cute, I laughed.

Then later that day I put Talia down for a nap, all was quiet and I thought she was asleep...think again "Mommy I want you" so I go to see what is going on and all I see is Talia's face, sheets, her clothes and the bars on her crib covered in desitin. Great fun clean up, it make me laugh and cleaned it up but was a little stressed at that point. Did not get a picture of it.

For the finale I was doing my project for school and I was almost done and I hear "Fran come here, Talia got food coloring on your carpet". Really? Really? So I get up and Talia has orange hands and face and there is a yellow spot on the carpet. We cleaned it up and wiped her down and yes it was time for bed. Good night Talia!
P.s when I thought it was finished the kids unplugged the laptop and my homework dissapeared....I think I'm gonna make Jake do the assignment for me....hahaha

Busy 2 weeks ever

So I have been a busy woman these last 2 weekends! I signed up for a phlebotomy class at the Reagan Career Center and it was exhausting. I went friday, saturday and sunday from 5am to 5pm. I got poked several times by students and let's just hope that they get more practice. My friend and another girl were the only ones to get blood out of me.

The one thing I missed was my husband and the girls, I don't know how women go to work and come home to put them to bed and not see them everyday. I will never willingly do that, I missed them so much. Thank goodness my brother inlaw Joe and his girlfriend Mary helped because this would of not been possible.

Today was my last day and I am so glad to not have to sit in class all day and get poked. I have my State Boards on this coming Saturday and as long as I pass I get certified. I will be doing my externship at Garfield Hospital and will be from 5am to 1:30 all week. The only nice part of that I get to work in maternity. This experience has made me want to keeping going with my education and become an RN
This is my friend Corrine and I before our practical test.

This is the whole class. Most were fun to be around.

To Aunt Vicki's house we go

I look forward to going to Jake's aunt's house every year for a family get together. We get to eat good food and hang out and talk with the family
Kaelyn looking cool on the trip to Aunt Vicki's.

This is Jake's cousin Raeann, she is a fun person to hang out with. She seems to always be laughing.

Christmas Day

Today was a fun day, the kids were very excited to wake to and see that Santa left them some fun things to play with.
This is the loot, the kids found in the morning. Santa made sure to lable it so that no one would be confused.

Can I just say that my daughter is absolutley BEAUTIFUL. I love this picture of her.

Talia got a little scooter from Santa and just sat on it and kept laughing. We headed over to Jake's parents house to open presents and it was really nice to hang out. The kids got an awesome wangon that you can go off roading in if you wanted to, it was great I even took a ride in it. Jessica and Kaelyn posing next to Santa, Kealyn is not to happy due to Uncle Isaac yelling at her, one thing I try not to do is yell at the kids on day's like this beacause they are excited to open presents. Makes me want to jut give her a big hug here.

The girls were so excited to help their grandpa out. They wanted to pass out gifts, or was it just to know which ones were their's :). Off to my parents house we go. Jessica got a gold watch from Santa. The story behind that is Jessica kept telling my mom "Babcia I want a watch for Christmas" and mom was going to get it for her but forgot till last mintue. My mom ran to a ton of stores but I guess could not find one so she got one of their old watches and wrapped it for her. I thought Jessica was going to be like this is not a Hannah Montana watch guys, but to our surprise she loved it and wears it all the time. My 5 year old has more bling than me. Jake dressed like Santa and brought the kids some toys, it was so funny Jake sounded like he had an Italian accent. We were all laughing. I would of got a picture but I was video taping it. Jessica came running up to me saying "that's daddy" it took a while to convice her that was not her daddy.

Talia got a cute little toy to ride on so my brother and sister put it together for her. I think my sister was more excited here than Talia. The tree was filled at my mom's house with pretty much all gifts for the kids...My parents have a blast just wactching the girls go crazy.

Preparing for Santa's arrival

The girls were really excited "Santa is coming". All the days mommy saying you guys better stop fightting or I'm calling Santa", well it paid off and he will be coming to visit. We got the front yardd ready with the reindeer food Kaelyn and Jessica got from school and sprinkled it in the front yard. To ensure Santa is coming we threw glow sticks on the grass to help guide his way. The girls also put his plate out infront of the fireplace with what Jessica thought Santa would like....carrots for the reindeer and sugar cookies for Santa. After speaking with Santa later that night he told me is favorite was chocolate chip as well. Kaelyn felt that Talia needed more reindeer food in her spot. She had a huge smile on her face the whole time. She was very excited.

Jessica made sure that the whole front yard had coverage.
y
Talia was having a blast with this. She made a huge mound of reindeer food infront of her, she just kept giggling.

Ginger Bread House

Yes we attempted the gingerbread house and the girls had a blast.>I had Jake help out to put the frosting to hold the side and the girls got to do the decorating

Our beautiful Gingerbread house.....The felt that it had enough decor and the rest was their's to eat.
I know that they are not smiling in this picture but Talia's face just cracks me up.
