December

December was super busy and went so fast. December was filled with a birthed for my sweet boy who is now 5, I still call him "baby Jake" and don't care what people think ha. Jake had a preschool performance and was super shy, can't believe he will be in kindergarten soon. Rachel and her mom put together a little party for him and I was so grateful for it. I had to work which is a bummer but they stepped up and helped me out.
I love Christmas parties and Jakes work had one this year. I loved it so much! We went to a hotel that the company got us and it was right on the beach, so pretty and much needed.
My sister bought a new house and had a christmas eve get together, so awesome and she did really well on the house. Very proud of her accomplishments.
Jake surprised me with a car for Christmas, I had no idea and he did very well. I mean, who wouldn't dream of having a Audi with a fat red bow on it. Christmas was spent with the kids opening gifts and going to my inlaws house. Cindy and Russ spoiled us with a cool trip to take a balloon ride and Jake a Sax that he had really wanted. Grateful for them.
The day after Christmas we went to Aunt Vickis and I look forward to that every year. I really wish they lived closer to us.
New Years was spent in the desert and I have to say I love going. We went with some new families and the Evans fam bam. Ringing in the new year was great! Here is to 2016!

Busy day

Life never calmed down after school it just got a different kind of busy. I took the boys to go bring chocolates and flowers to Melanie Barron, she had surgery on her knee. Who wouldn't like two cute boys coming to their door. Later we went back to bring Noah his gift.
Today was Andi's bday and we had a cake and presents for her. This little girl is a doll. I love being able to do special things for these kids.
We headed to the UFC gym to do some classes. I get a kick out of watching the kids do their classes. Baby Jake seems to be rolling on the floor a lot but I mean that is exactly what we paid for. ha little turd!
When I got home flowers and a card were brought to me by the McCormick family. They needed my help with a family member and I was able to do what they needed. Nursing school really has given me the opportunity to do for others. Grateful for the gift and kind words.

2015

So much has happened in 2015. I have so much to be grateful for and I feel like here I can write everything down without getting judged. The year started with me entering my final semester of nursing school. It was hard, there is no better way to say it. I constantly studied and was not able to do so much. I slacked on birthday parties for Talia and Jess because I was so darn pre-occupied with studying and making sure that I would not EVER have to repeat and put my family through this again. There were times where I went till 2am and studied so that I could get this completed.

June hit and I passed the program! I honestly could not comprehend what was going on. Due to all the studying I only needed 7 points out of 100 to pass, hard work paid off. I had my close friends and family there at my graduation and it was perfect. Once I walked that stage I felt so free and I knew that I had a lot to catch up on and wanted to have fun with my kids…..so I did!

Summer was filled with beaches, lakes, amusement parks, concerts, fairs and hanging out with family and friends. It was want I wanted and I did it. Despite peoples comments about "how I was always out, and was spending Jakes money!" Yeah, someone had the guts to actually say that hahaha Little do people know about my husband and I's financial affairs. If find it totally hilarious and feel that people should dare make that comment in front of Jake and see what he says.

Back to school came for the kids and I was bummed but I was ready to get a job in the profession I studied for 2 years. In august I passed the NCLEX and in October I got a job in Med/Surg at Palmdale Regional Medical Center. It happened so fast! During the time the kids played soccer and we had an awesome Halloween.

The holidays went fast but I loved every minute of it! Here's to an amazing 2016
