So much has happened in 2015. I have so much to be grateful for and I feel like here I can write everything down without getting judged. The year started with me entering my final semester of nursing school. It was hard, there is no better way to say it. I constantly studied and was not able to do so much. I slacked on birthday parties for Talia and Jess because I was so darn pre-occupied with studying and making sure that I would not EVER have to repeat and put my family through this again. There were times where I went till 2am and studied so that I could get this completed.
June hit and I passed the program! I honestly could not comprehend what was going on. Due to all the studying I only needed 7 points out of 100 to pass, hard work paid off. I had my close friends and family there at my graduation and it was perfect. Once I walked that stage I felt so free and I knew that I had a lot to catch up on and wanted to have fun with my kids…..so I did!
Summer was filled with beaches, lakes, amusement parks, concerts, fairs and hanging out with family and friends. It was want I wanted and I did it. Despite peoples comments about "how I was always out, and was spending Jakes money!" Yeah, someone had the guts to actually say that hahaha Little do people know about my husband and I's financial affairs. If find it totally hilarious and feel that people should dare make that comment in front of Jake and see what he says.
Back to school came for the kids and I was bummed but I was ready to get a job in the profession I studied for 2 years. In august I passed the NCLEX and in October I got a job in Med/Surg at Palmdale Regional Medical Center. It happened so fast! During the time the kids played soccer and we had an awesome Halloween.
The holidays went fast but I loved every minute of it! Here's to an amazing 2016
