30

Yes it is true I am officially 30! On September 26,1979 I was born in Chicago to Diane and Vito Deliso, and born at home. I was named after my grand mother and great grandmother, my first name (Francesca) is my grandmother's name and my middle name (Natalia) is my great grandmother's name.
Not so excited about turning 30 but I am grateful that I have had 30 years of great memories. I have owed 2 homes, got married, have 3 beautiful girls, going to college and I have met so many wonderful people. I can't really complain, I've been blessed with a lot.
I got to go to Knott's Scary farm with some great friends yesterday and it was really fun. I thought I was prepared this year and that I was not going to get scared as much, YEAH RIGHT! They knew I was coming and they were hiding in different area's, the moster's with the trash cans kept getting me.
My sister sent me a birthday note that said "Happy Birthday Cesca, your half way to 60", I'm going to kill her for that one.....

Under the sea program

Today I got to go to Jessica's Under the sea program at her school. It was so adorable and all the kids did such a great job. I actually started to tear up, I get so emotional now seeing how big she getting. She has been coming home lately singing songs and humming, it was nice to hear the whole song today. I have to say that spending time with her was wonderful and I cherish these moments with her.

Jessica got to wear a pirate costume for the program, she was really excited to wear it.

This came out so dark, I need a new camera. Jessica stood in the far back row and had a great smile the whole time on her face. She did have a part to say (her part was "Do you know poems about any other ocean animals"). She got a little shy but she did a great job.
We got to do a packet of work together and I was amazed with how much she has learned, there was a question on the packet that asked what fishy flavor did she like (they were gold fishes), she told me red and when I was about to fill in the blank she took the pencil from me and said she could do it, and she did. I got emotional off of that!

Our favorite tree is gone

The most awesome tree that Cindy and Russ had in the backyard is gone now, about a week ago one limb broke and now it is in four's. This tree was so cool and provided the best shade. I loved the way it pretty much covered the whole backyard.

The backyard is going to look bare with this tree gone.

Spending time with my husband

Jake took the day off to spend with me, he took me to the happiest place on earth "Disneyland".
We don't ever get time were it is just him and I so it was really nice to have one on one time.

Browsing at the Mad Hatter's shop. Jake is adorable in his pluto hat.

I have always wanted to eat at the Blue Bayou and I finally got a chance to do it. The food was excellent and instead of seeing it from the Pirates of the Carribean boat we got to enjoy the veiw from a table.

It was a great day, we both kept saying that it was weird not having the kids with us. Even though we love our time together it is even more fun watching our kids enjoy the park.

Cheese

Little Miss Talia is such a ham, everytime she sees the camera she will say cheese over and over till you take her picture. If you look closely you will see the big fat bruise on her head from falling at Jessica's soccer game. I guess we won' be taking family pictures till that goes away, but on the happy note she will smile for the camera :)

Our class

Jake and I teach the CTR 6 class at church very Sunday. This Sunday we were incharge of sharing time and our lesson was on "Prophets teach me how to strengthen my family". I am still shy when it comes to teaching infront of large groups at church so Jake took charge and did the lesson. He did a great job and the kids seemed to really enjoy it.

This our class aren't they a cute group, I should of waited to give them their treats haha
Jake had the class huddled up around him giving them instructions on what they needed to do.

The classes seem to have fun and that was our goal, to teach them but to have them enjoy the lesson.

Everyday after school I pull all of Jessica's paper's out of her backpack and hung her art on the fridge, separate paper's, etc....
She had a Alligator that she made that was really cute. I said to her "Wow Jess, I like your Alligator" she in return tells me I gave him disease on his eye" huh? she said that the dots on his face is the disease's.....I get a kick out of her!
