Happy Birthday Gram

Tonight our family, plus Joe (my adopted son) went to see Grams. Today is her birthday so we bought her flowers, a card that sang bad to the bone and a chocolate cupcake with a candle in it. The girls were so excited to hold the cupcake with the candle at the door and sing Happy Birthday to her. Gram has been so kind to my girls and we just love her so much.

Easter Crazyness!

Baby Jake got to meet cousin James. Love this kid! I can't wait for these two to get older and be able to be good buds. James is 6months old and baby Jake is 4months.

Gunner and Kaelyn, they will get married one day!

Kaelyn's goodies from her pre-school Easter egg hunt.

Talia and her buddy Brielle! These two were fun to watch running around, they had their own language and enjoyed eachothers company.

Jessica was ready for more fun, after 240 eggs out hidding she felt that the fifty she got was not enough...sheesh lol

Let me just say that holiday's are getting crazier every year and I love it. I love watching my kids faces light up with excitment and hearing them laugh. Easter was filled with family and fun! Jakes cousin came in from out of town and I was able to have a little get together at the house with them, a few family members and our good friends the Evans. Jake, Eric and Cory went to the park and put out eggs for the kids, they were in heaven.. Here is the gang warming up for the big egg hunt. I just noticed that Jessica has 2 baskets, oh boy~

Family home evening

Since we have little ones we try to keep their attention and tonight was to dye Easter eggs and to talk about Easter with the kids. Of course they had fun putting the edds in the dye and watching them come out a different color. Jake got creative and did some different colors, he's so talented haha. We were trying to keep the dye in the little cups and they did really good at going slowly. Everyone got their own cups and equal amount of eggs so it was fair, I have to say there was no fighting....It was a miracle!

Baby Jake's first time to Disneyland

Kaelyn was trying not to smile...hahaha
Who made baby Jake cry? I think the one with the grin!

We stopped for lunch and the Golden shoe horse, Talia and daddy were enjoying some french fries.
On the ride Pirates of the Caribbean.

Jake was able to take the day off from work to join us at Disneyland for the day. Cindy came along so it made the day extra special for the girls. Baby Jake got his 1st time to Disneyland button and was ready to go, since Jake's birthday was like 2 days later I made him wear a Happy Birthday pin as well. We went on a ton of rides and just enjoyed the day, both Jake and I agreed that is was a much needed outting. We took a walk over to California Adventures and went to the Bear play area, I have never been in that part of the park and I have to say is was soooo much fun. They had a zip line, slides and a bunch of stuff to climb. We seemed to have stayed in that side of the park for a while. It started to rain a little bit and we just sat under the bridge and drank hot coco.

Baby Jakes first ride was of course The Pirates of the Caribbean. He didn't cry or get fussy but his eyes were as wide as an owl. He was such a good baby and just went with the flow all day. I can't wait to do this trip again with my family and make more memories.

Nathan's 6th Birthday party

Jessica was still not sure about David in his clown costume.

Here is the woman who made this party possible. Also this is the first time she has met baby Jake.
I think this is one of my favorite pictures :)
Aunt Vicki made all the clown outfits....ADORABLE~

Every year I look forward to Aunt Vicki's parties. Jake's aunt is such a great party planner and you always leave one of her parties going WOW. This year for Nathan's birthday it was a Carnival party. When we pulled up to the park my girls got immediatly excited and could not get out of the car faster. It really looking like a carnival was going on, it included a ticket booth where you had to get tickets to play the games, 12 booths set up with different games, popcorn...hotdogs and nacho stand for your all you can eat enjoyment. My girls did'nt even know where to start.

The whole family was dressed in a clown outfit attending to the kids and Alyssa had alot of her friends working the booths. My girls were able to run to the different booths and keep playing till their hearts content.

8th annual play day at COC

Baby Jake enjoyed some ice cream and Mr. Froggy was able to come along for the ride :)
Talia has decided to take Uncle Joe's advice and get a tattoo....awesome!
After class today I noticed alot was going on in the main quad. Today was the 8th annual play day at COC. There was alot of booths that the kids got to go to and make different art projects and educational hands on displays. Jessica was at a birthday party at Build a Bear so she was not available for our outting. Joe took Jess to the party, he was very willing to go because he was sure he was going to meet a hot mom at the party. Unfortunatly for Joe, all he got was pizza hahaha. The girls had a blast and to end our little adventure we got to cool off with some italian ice cream. Yum
Jake has always wanted to sign the girls up for a self defense class and they had a booth there where you can punch some bags. The instructor there held up the punching equipment and Kaelyn went to town. Jake filled out the form due to watching Kaelyn hit the bag, he said she hits like a girl and she NEEDS self defense classes...lol

Wacky Wednesday

It was wacky wednesday at Kaelyn's school today and the kids were suppose to dress up wacky. Alot of the kids really got into it and is was so fun watching them. Kaelyn wore two different shoes, one sleeve rolled up, nails painted one color on one hand and another color on the other one, her hair was in 8 different pony tails and she had pink eyeshadow....Wait this is how she normally dresses hahaha. Kaelyn really enjoys going to preschool and she has learned so much. Her teachers are AMAZING and her such warm hearts.
