Vegas

I really do like Vegas and my friend Meghan invited some of the nursing girls to go. I thought, why not! I do realize that there are things that I like that others may not. I don't think that it's my age that is what doesn't make it fun to do what is normally done in Vegas,  but more my personality of what I enjoy to do. I like people watching, going shopping, pulling a few slot machines and going to shows. Iftwas a fun experience and I do plan on going again but to more watch some great shows. Note to self, when wearing white in Vegas you will get asked a million times "Are you getting married?" Yes, I thought it was funny and I would answer to them that I have been married for 12years, the reactions were funny and I got a lot of "That is awesome!" I also appreciated when I got a complement on how "I looked very classy." I don't dress to show off my body but more to present myself with expecting respect.

Easter 2014

Easter seemed really busy this year, I felt like we were all over the place. I was really lacking in organizing and planning this year. When I'm in school mode I feel like I rush and last minute stuff. I made a promise to myself to make sure I do as much holiday stuff with my family as I can with school. I don't want to take anything away from my kids because I made a choice to go to school. We went to central park for their Easter Egg hunt, went to families houses and had our own hunt up at the park. The kids were happy and that is all that matters.

More updates

Beach trips are always amazing, the kids had a blast and kept busy. None were sunburned in the process. We did have a tired little boy and a goldfish spill on the way home. Trips to meet friends to get nursing advice is always fun with Nikki and Dani.
I was able to take the girls to the Pirate show with Jodie and Kelly, it was super fun but only a one time go kind of thing. The show was fun and the kids got to participate with our team pirate.
One night a got a phone call from Kelly to go out and TP houses. Kelly was an expert in teaching the girls how to unroll the TP then throw it. Needless to say we were cracking up and mission accomplished.

So many pictures from my phone!

I have so many pictures on my phone that I need to get into my blog. So much has happened in the 16 weeks that I was in school. I took pictures but never blogged on them because there was simply no time to do that. We have our reading with daddy every night and Im trying to encourage my kids to pick up a book every once in a while. I really do hope that they start to like reading a bit more. I received flowers from a friend (which was not necessary I was honored that I could help) for stopping by to check on her dad because he was not feeling feel. The thought was a nice surprise when I got a text that said open your front door and these beautiful flowers were there for me.
Icecream with some of our favorite people is always fun, I really like taking them to Menchies!
Miss Talia lost her first tooth and the tooth fairy hooked her up!

My first baseball game

It was really nice to have someone out there that thinks of you every once in a while, even if they are not close with you they think of you. A friend of mine offered Dodger tickets to me and I figured I would try it out. Jake didn't want to go so I took Talia, baby Jake and my parents. I was surprised that the kids did so well, but after a while Talia was asking to go home. I like how relaxing the atmosphere is and it defiantly not as intense as a hockey or foot ball game. It was really fun and I would go again~
