Today we were able to bless baby Jake at our ward. It was so great, I really enjoyed hearing Jakes words during the blessing. Jake and I are thankful to those that made the effort to be there and partake in this special day.
Jakes blessing on little Jacob:
In the name of Jesus Christ and the power of the Melchizedek preisthood which we hold, we lay our hands upon you to give you a name and a blessing. the name which has been choosen for you is Jacob Russell Milhoan II. At this time we'd like to bless you Jacob, bless you with strength to endor the times that are coming. We bless you to seek after those things that are worth while. Things like the gospel. We bless you to have the desire to choose the right, to seek God and search the scriptures. We bless you to through out your life to honor women, whether it be your sister, your mother, grandmothers or when you are ready to choose a wife. We bless you to prepare for a mission when the time comes, that you will be honorable and worthy to serve. We bless you with these things Jacob and all the other blessing the Lord has in store for you, in the the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
