Vacation part 5

These crazy dad's were putting their own fireworks show, it was fun watching them light the fire works and run. Apparently, they started a fire and watching them run like little kids laughing was pretty entertaining.
More photos from the trip! Sorry for the little naked butt picture but my friend Nicole took it and it was funny. Baby Jake is I would say fully potty trained, and this was the result of him needed to go and this was my option. The lake was filled with more tubing, eating and giggling. Seriously, these kids have way too much energy, I needed a nap just watching them keep going.
On Wednesday the ladies got to get out and do a little shopping, its always great to hang out and have girl time. I think next time I would like to walk the strip and see the different hotels, just incase I want to make jake take me out for a weekend. hint hint!

Funny things you find when you're not looking for them

Today I was in a race to find my immunization card for school and instead I found everything but that. What I did find is stuff from my wedding, picture cds, kids immunization cards etc. But one thing stood out to me was this 8 paged stapled packet. This was something my brother inlaw Brandon put together for me before I went thru the temple. He said that there was a lot that he didn't understand so he highlighted the papers the church gave me to prepare and put side nots to help me understand what was going to go on. I was touched then and I'm still touched now that he did this for me. It funny how people don't remember at time what others do for them, and I think this blog helps me never forget what others do for me, they can be big or small and my heart is full knowing others cared so much about me.

School

Prepping for the nursing program is a pain in the rear. Seriously, I need a bandaid on my rear because it's been such a pain. I have had to get poked and poked over and over again. to be in the nursing program you need to be updated on your shots, get physicals, insured and run around with your head cut off. I'm determined to do it and that what keeps me going! With good friends encouraging me and not giving up on me, a husband that promises to help me get it done, I say it has been what I needed. today was a little rocky but I think all was done even if there was a bit of frustration. I should be able to go and turn in my paperwork and register tomorrow. Eeeeeeek fingers crossed and prayers needed!

Vacation take 4

Santa is always watching.
They wanted to sleep all together, looks so uncomfortable.
Talia and frosted flakes were on the menu for a late night snack, entertainment was Honey Boo Boo. lol Laurel says its a train wreck you can't look away haha
This vacation had all sorts of crazy going on! We got to jump off boats, go to the man mall and hang with the Robinson's, eat breakfast with Santa and have a sleep over at the hotel. I still don't know how these kids kept going, the energy in them is amazing. They didn't get sick of each other and wanted to keep going.

Vacation take 3

We got the dad's tubing and Nicole took them for a crazy ride, I heard that they were sore after a few runs across the lake haha. A ton more tubbing was going on and tons of munching. The kids played so well with each other, I got in the water the majority of the day due to the heat just being so high. Jakes strawberry picking hat (thats what he called it) was a hit, I think Ryan rocked it the best. Later that day Jessica came up to me to ask if the Evans, Balls and Andersons can be there aunts, uncles and cousins. It really means alot to me to see how these family's care for one another. There is no exceptions, every one it there for each other and support one another. The kids act as if they are related to these families.

Vacation take 2

Our start of the day was breakfast in bed, the recommended item by the chef was powder donuts. Baby Jake approved! We loaded the kids up, filled the ice chests and headed to the lake. The temperature outside was a whopping 115 degrees, it was hot. The first day was a little windy but we found a cove from a previous trip and hung out there, the kids got to do tubing and swimming. They were just excited to hang out with each other. The kids jumped from boat to boat, there were times I had all of my kids spread out with other families, the beauty in it was that everyone was cool about it. We got off the lake a little after 4 and headed back to get changed so we could go get some dinner. I was worried for a bit because my son had the ice bucket on his head for a good while, I think the heat got to him.

Vacation take 1

Packing was up to me this year and I cracked at it all by myself. Jake was working so I got everything thing together so when he got home we could just head out to Lake Mead. My family looks forward to this trip every year and the company that comes is always great to be around. While I was packing baby Jake wanted to make sure that underneath the truck was in order, and better yet, he needed to do it in his crime fighters and a few of his toys. I almost had a mini heart attack when I saw him under there, neighbors still think I'm a good mom ( I think!)
When Jake got home we hooked the boat up and blew kisses goodbye to the house and set off for our adventure. Jake was tired from work so he took a nap while I did 80/90mph down the freeway, no one told me it was bad to do with a boat hooked to me. When driving and having no one to talk to what do you do? I practice my neck tattoo art on Jake! It wouldn't be a trip unless my name was on him.
Our friends were already there so they met us at buffalo wild wings, 8 parents and 20 kids were present. It's crazy but I love love love the chaos! The kids all buddy up and its fun watching them.
