for the love!

I think I'm on have too much fun overload! Yesterday I took the kids to see Santa, they were being such pains and I probably yelled all the way to Santa's lap and then some. Talia had to pee and did her run way model walk to Santa and then off to the bathroom we went. When this kid needs to go, you need to find the nearest bathroom ASAP.
Today I was able to volunteer in Talia's class and it was a trip long over due. She had been asking me to come because "all the other mommy's come." Yup, the pressure of it all! My friend told me the day before all the kids were coughing and sneezing as they put their gingerbread houses together and today I get to decorate the little virus houses. Fun times! Honestly, it was fun and I loved going. The kids crack me up with their imaginations and personalities.

Christmas craziness

I thought that I would take it easy and not be busy, yeah right! I feel like a deprived child getting to do all the things there were not allowed to do. I love every minute that Im not in school. Yesterday I was invited to go to the Kelemans little party at Sky city bounce. The kids had a blast and I had a good time chatting with some friends. After that I went to Patty's annual party, I look forward to it every year. I don't get to see her daughter that much and I know at least for sure we will be able to see each other. Every year we all go out and hang, this year we headed to a restaurant that a friend of ours rented out. There was music, Santa and a photo booth. I really had a great time, I even saw people I worked with when I was 17 years old. It was a big reunion.
Tonight we took the kids to the Candy cane lane for a little walk around the block. The kids loved it and loved just being with each other.

Temple lights

Tonight we took the kids to see the Temple lights. I'm so glad we could go! I felt that I really needed to go because I called the Temple several times throughout the nursing program to put my name as well as others names on the prayer roll. I'm so very grateful that I have the ability to do that and know that there are those praying for me that day.
The kids of course had a blast, running with there buddies and freezing their little behinds off. These kids have come to create some really special bonds and they are more than friends but more like cousins. They crack me up and I can't even begin to express how much love I have for each of them.
Earlier in the day I got to watch Blake, he is a funny little guy. Every time I walked out of the room and out of his site he would cry for me. I remember having little ones his age and how needy they are, but we got thru the day and with a lot of hugs and kisses, we made through the day!

Christmas visit

Every year I look forward to seeing Raeann and her family. This year it was a lot smaller than usual, grandpa Milhoan didn't come down this year so no one planned anything. I was close to finishing 1st semester of school and gave Raeann a call to plan something so I could see them before they went to Oregon. Im so glad it all worked out, the kids had a blast running around and the adults got to hang out and catch up.
We were able to exchange gifts and have a great dinner. Baby Jake was so excited to get his present that he started to chew on the box to get it open. Raeann got him it because it had his name on it, she had no clue that baby Jake loves Jake and the Neverland pirates.
Hopeful we will see them all in January before I go back to school.

It's official

So with all the studying and crying and complaining and worrying I passed 1st semester of nursing school. What a ride this has been and I would not ever change it. Ive met wonderful people that I know I will have in my life for a very long time. Ive learned who my friends are and who were not so much. But most of all Im grateful for all Ive learned and those that believed in me.

Oh the Christmas project we get to do!!!! This was Talia's tree she had to do for class, lets just say I had to have her add flowers. It was a good laugh!

Just happy

I was able to take a night out with these wonderful women. I have really been just so busy with school that I have not been able to do much. Let me say it again but more loud I HAVE HAD NO LIFE! We headed to the Grove (my new favorite place) and had dinner, got to get our make up done, eat fabulous cupcakes and the best of all bests….SHOP! I a so grateful for these woman, no, for better words Sisters!!

I love the holidays and all that it brings, I just love the Christmas cards. Today I got a thick envelope with this inside from our good friends the Baldree's. I was unable to go to Nick Lonshores funeral and it weighed heavy in my mind. Genine, must of known because she sent me the program and the free slurpee coupons in memory of him. This just made my day and I don't have a lot of words for it. Its amazing when people think of you in little ways like this, its as if Heavenly Father let her know~
