Disneyland

The girls and I have been wanting to go to Disneyland for a while now so we decided to go yesterday. It was so fun, I was a little scared when I saw so many cars there but it turned out great. The lines where not so bad. We had Grandma Milhoan come along for the ride and baby Natalia got to hang out with my dad for the day.

The kids love the petting zoo there. Kaelyn loved to pet the goats and hug them. She laughs when they run from her lol.

The girls did not know which way to go, they where so excited. Towards the end of the night We went over Tomorrow land to listen to the band play and that is where little Miss Kaelyn was shakin her stuff on the dance floor. At one point she grab a little boys hands and started to dance. It was the cutest thing ever. At least she will dance at my brother's wedding, that girl is not shy.

Thank you Jake for buying us our passes :)

Kealyn gets her 2 years shots!

What an interesting morning. I had to take my 2 year old to get her shots. We get there and of course have to wait for ever because you know I have an appointment and people with appointments are suppose to wait forever. Have you ever had to wait in a waiting room with 3 kids under the age of 4 before? NOT WHAT I WANT TO DO. Finally I get in there and get to wait more. The doctor there is great she checked Kaelyn out and was impressed on how much she has grown. She is 27 lbs and is 37inches, apparently she is tall for a 2year old. She only had to get 1 shot today but it hurt and she cried for a bit :(.

As I was leaving with one baby in a car seat the other crying at my leg and the oldest asking for CANDY, the nurse stops me to say Mrs. Milhoan your insurance said that you reached your minimum in shots for Kaelyn...WHAT ARE U TALKING ABOUT? Here we go again Lineco and how unorganized they are. I said no my daughter has coverage $1000.00 a year for shots. So already frustrated with 2 kids crying and one getting antsie I have to call Lineco to see what is going on. I guess they failed to tell me $1000.00 is lifetime not per year. GREAT! $235.00 later I am crying in the parking lot trying to call Jake. If only people knew how much these Lineman pay towards their insurance you would just die. Lineco is the worst, I am grateful to have insurance but I am sick of dealing with incompetent people every time i call.

I could of gone to the free clinic and not have had to spend that much on 1 shot, just one shot,,,,,still can not believe it. I hate Lineco! I need to get a petition signed and get the Union to get a real insurance company.

What do you think?

I have not told a lot of people but I have decided to go back to school and become an RN. I have wanted to do this for a while and have put it off because my husband was going thru his apprenticeship and it was not a good idea for both of us to be in school at the same time. So I figured he is the bread winner and I support his decisions. Now that he is not in the apprenticeship I have the opportunity to go thru with my schooling. I am very excited and many think that I am crazy for it but I have a strong feeling that I need to do this. I am not sure what route to take right now,,,,I am debating on the COC program or going thru Concord College. I am going tomorrow to look at the campus and meet with a counselor to see what they have to offer me. It will be hard but this is for my family as well as myself. I am going to try and work around my girls and do night classes 2 times a week and labs on weekends, I'm trying to draw out a plan and make the best decision.

If any of you have any good advice let me know....

Camping

So the Milhoan and Vincent camping shindig was interesting this year. It was great to see all of Jake's cousins and be able to go to the beach, but this camp ground sucked. Imagine being in dirt all the time. The campsite had dirt and just a bunch of bushes and if you wanted to go to the beach you had to go down a dirt path (which by the way is not made for strollers) and under a bridge. If you did not pee before 5pm there was no toilet paper left...and we where bit by every insect imaginable. We usually go to Carpenteria but we did not get enough sites so we went to another camp by point Magoo sp? In Carpenteria everything is close by and it is a lot cleaner and my kids have a blast riding up and down the street path. Thank goodness for my mother in law and her sister they always find ways to make everyone's time there enjoyable and busy. :)

Don't get me wrong it was fun but just not a camp ground I want to take my kids to again.

Jake came up a few nights he went swimming in the ocean and got to hang out (and to try and even his tan lines out a bit lol). I almost killed him 2 nights ago when we where sleeping on our tent, there was a mutated grasshopper in our tent that he said was crawling on him and I thought he killed it but oh no the thing was crawling in the tent and when I handed him the tissue and said "Kill it" he looked at me and said "I'm not touching it". Needless to say I won and he killed it.

We did get to go to the Ventura County Fair for a couple of hours and get to roam around a bit, we did not get to go on any rides but we got to look at all the animals and the hands on kids exhibits . Next time I am going to get Jake to be there so we can do more with the girls.

The girls had a great time at the beach but I think they got a bit worn out after being there that they got sick and restless so I took them home.

What my husband does for a living

So a lot of people lately have asked me. "Now what does Jake do again". He is a Power Lineman, he's is the guy that keeps the lights on. He climbs up those big polls and fixes them. I feel so sorry for him lately, having to be in this heat outside with long sleeves and pants working on a poll all day. Let me tell you I am very grateful for such a hard working husband. He went thru an apprenticeship for 3 years having to drive far for work and at one point he had to live up in Palo Alto and sleep either in his car or a trailer. When he was up there we would only see him on the weekends and he missed a lot of Kaelyn growing up :( ..... right now he is working with my brother and he really seems to like his crew. I love when he comes home with funny stories from his day. I have a few pictures here from a rodeo we went to that Jake competed in with my brother and their groundsman.

Daddy's invention

Daddy the inventor!

So the other day I hear a scream from the other room "Fran come here I have to show you what I invented" I knew this was going to be good. Jake likes to put stuff together to amuse our children and keep them occupied. As I turn the corner all I could do was laugh. There Natalia was sitting in her Bumbo chair in front of my ab roller with toys tied to it with a jump rope. I could not stop laughing apparently Jake did not know that they already have invented a toy like this for babies. Needless to say Natalia was very amused and plays with this often. I am not allowed to take it apart to use the ab roller so it is one of my kids ghetto toys now.
