Happenings

so much has been going on lately and I have to say that I'm enjoying the craziness of it all. My cousins wedding is a week away and I can't wait to celebrate with her. She was in my wedding 10 years ago and finally her day is here. My mom found some old pictures of me and my cousins and they are cracking me up, especially the one where my cousin wet his pants; yes that is me in the red. Last night I got to see one of my closest friends Morgan. She was my brothers ex girlfriend, one of my bridesmaids and I can't even express how much she means to me. It took alot for me not to cry when I saw her because I miss her fun personality. My sister and her "friend" went along too, I was able to see another friend that I worked with and met some pretty cool people. They had music and fire dancers, I got to see some cool pictures of studio work and have a good time laughing. Today I headed to my moms for a bit because my niece Katie was there, she is so cute and I'm determined to make sure she knows who I am regardless my differences with my brother. She had fun running after the girls and I got to cuddle with her and kiss her like crazy.

I'm discusted

I don't get it and I don't think I ever will. I didn't vote for Obama and I still stick to that. Facebook is blowing up with people who just have no clue and I don't think they voted with really thinking this thru. I didn't put my vote out there because so many people are ignorant and don't understand or want to understand that everyone has an opinion and they are entitled to that. My husband works his rear off for us and is taxed so much that after a while it's not even worth it for him to work. I get people are in a rut but we need a president that will get them jobs and better our lives. I don't feel that taking from the middle class is the answer. Jake was not happy as well, he had just walked through the door from YM and I told him. He said that middle class is screwed. I pray for our country, I don't trust this president.

He's going to kill me

Jake was going to do a Triathlon on the 3rd of November but it all didn't work out for us to go. In the process of getting ready to do this event Jake bought a bike, shoes and helmet with dreams of winning big. Well when we decided that the trip was not in the cards for us at this time he was left with a bike, helmet, shoes and no place to go. Until.....Willy, a friend from high school told Jake that he rides for fun and invited Jake for a ride today. 38 miles to be exact! I thought he was crazy but at 8am this morning my crazy husband and 2 of his friends set off for an adventure. When he got home he could barely breath and was complaining that certain "parts" hurt on him. haha But he loved it and is going to make this a habit to go. His friends wife texted me to make sure Jake was okay and we discussed where to get Jake a nifty riding outfit for Christmas. Yes, he will be that guy on the bike in tight shinny shorts one day.

Just stuff

Every once in a while when I see something funny that the kids are doing I will get my camera and capture the moment. The first picture is Jake with a plaque from Edison that say congrats on your one year with Edison....and that day he quit! He is now back with the outside construction and that is exciting. The second picture was from a couple nights ago where the boys are watching movies on the iPad, Jake is trying to get the boy to sleep and it was not working. And last but not least, Talia put a split kit kat bar next to baby Jakes face for him so when he wakes up he can eat them. When I came back in the room they were gone and baby jake was still sleeping. I guess Talia needed to help a brother out and eat them for him haha.

Amanda's baby shower

Today was Amanda's baby shower and it felt like the morning flew by. I made the baby shower cake so all morning I was rolling fondant and going crazy to make it perfect. I seriously don't get how people like doing cake decorating,,,,,it gave me anxiety!! I wasn't able to go to kaelyn's game and Jessica had a by so she stayed with me. Around 1 we headed to the shower, this was Jake's first co-ed shower and you can tell he was excited haha. The shower was great and it was nice to catch up with old friends and   meet Amanda's family. They had a game where the guys had to drink beer out of a sippy cup and whoever finishes it wins. I was busy doing something and all I hear is "Kaelyn, nooooooo." She wanted to play the game and had no clue what was in the cup. Still cracks me up! The kids were very sugared up and baby Jake was wired for house. I can't wait to meet my nephew!

Halloween 2012

Halloween is one of my favorite holiday's! The kids were excited to get out and do some serious Trick or Treating. The family came over for some dinner and last minute pumpkin carving then we were off to hit up some houses. Talia gave up after the second house and wanted to sit in the wagon but I made her do a few blocks before I let her call it quits. Jessica and Kaelyn did great, running from house to house. And then there was baby Jake, he was growling and saying oooohhhhh to everything. Every time I asked him what he had he would quickly say "CANDY" then in a growling voice say candy again. I was fun watching him go to the doors, when he was unsure of the house he would squat a little and creepy slowly towards they house as if ready to make a run for it if danger was present. So much fun watching the kids run from house to house, I treasure these moments.

Busy Busy Busy

So much has been happening lately and there has not been a dull moment. Some of the past weeks events have included Bunco, Target, Taylor and Sierra's birthday party's, TPing Rachels house, watching Melanie dominate the soccer field and make a goal and last but not least Paola's baby shower. I really do like busy but the non drama have fun times with friends type of busy. I'm so grateful to be able to do so much with friends and make memories.
