Da Beach!
Today started off in chaos, we weren't sure if we were going to meet up with friends or not. And just like our lives have been for the last 11 years bam, we are off to the beach. Our friends the Evans and Spencers were out there and we decided to come hang out. Jake wanted to do house work, crazy man. He works crazy hours and sometimes 7 days a week and he wanted to work, well I put a wrench in that idea and told him to enjoy his day. The beach was over cast and on our way there my crazy race car driving husband had me nervous so I wore a helmet, people in other cars were starring but what ever. The kids played with sand crabs and tried to throw them at the moms, wait no, they did throw them at us. Baby Jake is still learning that sitting behind someone digging in the sand is a bad idea. The food was amazing as usual, Cory needs to start a No Worries restaurant. Little Gage was serious about his chess game, they swore they knew how to play. The kids went on a bike ride with the dads to which Gunner got lost, that kid lives up to his name for sure. Jake bought me a bike and I didn't want to ride it so he strapped a helmet on and rode around the site yelling at me, "I buy you a bike and you wont ride it, fine, I'll get my moneys worth and ride it." I can feel the love radiate from those words.

Just random days
We didn't go to the dollar movies that much this year, I have no idea why either. I think I'm a little lazy by it and I'm following Laurels motto "I can't be bothered with it!" Haha Rachel and I took the clan plus the Barron cuties to see the Lorax, the kids did great. After we headed to Round table and we owned the joint, no one was in the restaurant, SCORE! With 11 kids it's not easy to find a place that won't be a pain.
Talia and I got to cuddle and watch tv for a bit, it's nice to have my time with each child.
What do you get a man that has everything thing? Caffeine Free Mountian Dew! Yes, they make it but you can't find it out here. Becky had to take a road trip to Utah to handle some business and she was able to pick me up a few cases. Jake was in heaven!
This poor kid got stuck playing dress up with the girls. As you can see he didn't like the outfit!
My friend Jen works for MGA and they had a research day for the kids to try out some toys and they got to play. It was really neat, they watched previews to movies that have not come out yet, made an erupting volcano, lava lamps (that's what their holding), play on iPads, eat pizza, watch Despicable Me, and even got to take home some cool gifts. They had a blast and it was nice that Jen kept them in mind.
Free slurpee day, why not! I took the kids down by my parents local 7 11 and picked up some slurpees for them to enjoy. There were tons of crazy people there that made it hard to get my kids their slurpees but we got them and no one got hurt!
Vacation part 5
These crazy dad's were putting their own fireworks show, it was fun watching them light the fire works and run. Apparently, they started a fire and watching them run like little kids laughing was pretty entertaining.
More photos from the trip! Sorry for the little naked butt picture but my friend Nicole took it and it was funny. Baby Jake is I would say fully potty trained, and this was the result of him needed to go and this was my option. The lake was filled with more tubing, eating and giggling. Seriously, these kids have way too much energy, I needed a nap just watching them keep going. On Wednesday the ladies got to get out and do a little shopping, its always great to hang out and have girl time. I think next time I would like to walk the strip and see the different hotels, just incase I want to make jake take me out for a weekend. hint hint!

Funny things you find when you're not looking for them
Today I was in a race to find my immunization card for school and instead I found everything but that. What I did find is stuff from my wedding, picture cds, kids immunization cards etc. But one thing stood out to me was this 8 paged stapled packet. This was something my brother inlaw Brandon put together for me before I went thru the temple. He said that there was a lot that he didn't understand so he highlighted the papers the church gave me to prepare and put side nots to help me understand what was going to go on. I was touched then and I'm still touched now that he did this for me. It funny how people don't remember at time what others do for them, and I think this blog helps me never forget what others do for me, they can be big or small and my heart is full knowing others cared so much about me.
School
Prepping for the nursing program is a pain in the rear. Seriously, I need a bandaid on my rear because it's been such a pain. I have had to get poked and poked over and over again. to be in the nursing program you need to be updated on your shots, get physicals, insured and run around with your head cut off. I'm determined to do it and that what keeps me going! With good friends encouraging me and not giving up on me, a husband that promises to help me get it done, I say it has been what I needed. today was a little rocky but I think all was done even if there was a bit of frustration. I should be able to go and turn in my paperwork and register tomorrow. Eeeeeeek fingers crossed and prayers needed!

Vacation take 4
Santa is always watching.
They wanted to sleep all together, looks so uncomfortable.
Talia and frosted flakes were on the menu for a late night snack, entertainment was Honey Boo Boo. lol Laurel says its a train wreck you can't look away haha
This vacation had all sorts of crazy going on! We got to jump off boats, go to the man mall and hang with the Robinson's, eat breakfast with Santa and have a sleep over at the hotel. I still don't know how these kids kept going, the energy in them is amazing. They didn't get sick of each other and wanted to keep going.
