Back from Chicago

We flew in last night from Chicago. It was a long flight with Natalia, she did not cooperate at all. It was really nice to go back to Chicago, I just wish it was not for a funeral. I had a hard time seeing my Grandmother laying in a coffin. She didn't look like the Babcia we all knew. She wore her favorite flowered dress and she looked beautiful. A lot of people came and paid their respects, she was loved by so many people. I just kept crying because I could not believe that she was gone.

The family were being so supportive to many that came, they were really strong. Most had their moments but for the most part they comforted other's.

I had the privlage to read a scripture at her funeral that family had choosen. It was a reading from the prophet Isaiah: On this mountain the Lord of hosts will provide for all peoples A feast of rich food and choice wines, juicy, rich food and pure, choice wines. On this mountain he will destroy the veil that veils all peoples, The web that is woven over all nations; he will destroy death forever. The Lord God will wipe away the tears from all faces; The reproach of his people he will remove from the whole earth; fro the Lord has spoken. On that day it will be said "Behold our God, to whom we looked to save us! This is the Lord for whom we looked; let us rejoice and be glad that he has saved us!"

Most people know that I don't do tallks, but I got up there.

After the funeral everyone was able to relax a little and hang out and talk about memories we had of our Babcia. My cousin Nicole told me about a story about my Babcia, she said that around Christmas my Babcia opened one of her presents and it was a shirt, she put it on and went to Bingo then later that night put it back in the box and rewraped it so that no one knew that she peeked. I laugh at this because I am the same way I hate surprises so I will snoop(don't tell Jake I admited that). I heard so many great stories about her and most of them we all where able to just laugh, that woman was fun to be around.

It was really cold out in Chicago, it gave us a great opportunity to build a snow man. Of course it was not just your ordinary snow man, especially when Jake and Lorenzo get around. It was 17 degrees out there. I had Jake a picture of me with my jacket off then he ran from me so I froze a bit...

I will upload more picture's, the battery on my camera is low.

All in all it was a sad time but happy as well. My grandmother is at peace and with our Heavenly Father, she is probally challenging him to a game of Bingo...Watch out she's good.

Sad news

Yesterday was a hard day for my family. My Grandmother (Babcia) past away. A couple of days ago she had fallen and fractured her rib, she was not doing to well and my aunt and uncle had to call the ambulance. When she arrived at the hospital the doctor found blood in her stomach and an emergency surgery had to take place. While she was in recovery she had to have her dialisys and that made her more weak. After a day she was not healing and the doctors found that they would need to do another surgery and that she probally would not make it throuh that and it was her dialisys day as well. Every option that was available the out come was that she would pass away. This woman has always been a fighter, but I think she was done suffering.

Around 11:30 they took the tubes off of her and let her pass. Before she was gone my mom put the phone to her ear and let me and the kids say our goodbye's. I want to be there so bad but I had so many road blocks that made it impossible for me to go. Needless to say I am flying out to Chicago Thursday with my family to put my Babcia to rest. I was lucky to have her meet Jessica about 4 years ago. It made my Babcia's day, all she kept saying was "Oh my God". I wish she could of met my other two daughter's, but I know that she is watching over them for me right now.

Words can not express how I feel right now. Heavenly father wanted his angel to come home. Rest in Peace Babcia, We love you.

Happy Anniversay

Jake and Francesca 11-23-02

On November 23 2002 is the day that Jake and I got married. We met eachother back in high school. Funny but we both were dating someone. I had a crush on him and he knew that (jerk). After he got back from his mission I had split up from my ex and he was no longer with his so he asked me out (It must of been my personality he liked) yeah right. We dated for a while and then Holy Cow he asked me to marry him. I could not stop crying, I can still remember him trying so hard to surprise me. He tried to get my boss to let him ask me over the intercom but the boss was not okay with that. I was really confused when every hour I recieved some kind of flower arrangement from him, I had no clue what was going on. He was going to take me to dinner and do it but I was being difficult and did not want to go out so he came to my house and I was in my PJ's and he got on one knee at the door and asked me to marry him. 6 years 3 kids later we are still happy as ever and love eachother very much. To many more anniversary's...OXOXOXOX's

Twilight

Yes, it is true I went to see the movie....All of my friends kept talking about the books. I would see girls in my class with these books. So even though I did not read the books I went to see the movie. I was a little confused at times and it was a little cheesy but I had a blast with the girls and I like the story line....My sister wants to go again so of course I can't turn her down so I'm going to see it again (wink wink). This also made me think about how much I miss my friends and how I need to get out more with them.

Tee Hee

Life has been so busy in the Milhoan residence. Jake has been working like crazy and is now working 6 to 7 days a week. I have been busy with school, oh math sucks by the way. The kids think that telling on each other won't get them in trouble.

I have decided that my oldest and middle child can not sit next to eachother anymore. Jake and I have been looking for a new SUV, we figure we can seperate them by putting them in a DIFFERENT ROW. Not only do we need the room but I need my sanity. It would be nice to go one car ride without saying "Kaelyn leave Jessica alone" or "Jessica just give it to her". My little Kaelyn is a little terror lately. She does melt my heart with those blue eyes and the "Hi Mommy" right after she did something wrong.

Tonight we all knelt down to pray and Kaelyn has been volenteering a lot lately. Jake says I have a hard time keeping a straight face when she says prayer. I'm sorry but when she says Dear Heavenly father it sounds like Dear Harry Potter. She is so adorable her little voice just puts a smile on my face.

Banned from Walmart

BANNED FROM WAL MART

This is why women should not take men shopping against their will.

After I retired, my wife insisted that I accompany her on her trips to Wal-Mart. Unfortunately, like most men, I found shopping boring and preferred to get in and get out. Equally unfortunately, my wife is like most women - - she loved to browse. Yesterday my dear wife received the following letter from the local Wal-Mart.

Dear Mrs. Samsel,

Over the past six months, your husband has been causing quite a commotion in our store. We cannot tolerate this behavior and have been forced to ban both of you from the store. Our complaints against Mr. Samsel are listed below and are documented by our video surveillance cameras.

1. June 15: Took 24 boxes of condoms and randomly put them in people's carts when they weren't looking.
2 . July 2: Set all the alarm clocks in Housewares to go off at 5-minute intervals.
3. July 7: Made a trail of tomato juice on the floor leading to the women's restroom.
4. July 19: Walked up to an employee and told her in an official voice, 'Code 3 in Housewares. Get on it right away.'
5. August 4: Went to the Service Desk and tried to put a bag of M&M's on layaway.
6. August 14: Moved a 'CAUTION - WET FLOOR' sign to a carpeted area.
7. August 15: Set up a tent in the camping department and told other shoppers he'd invite them in if they would bring pillows and blankets from the bedding department.
8. August 23: When a clerk asked if they could help him he began crying and screamed, 'Why can't you people just leave me alone?'
9. September 4: Looked right into the security camera and used it as a mirror while he picked his nose.
10. September 10: While handling guns in the hunting department, he asked the clerk where the antidepressants were.
11. October 3: Darted around the store suspiciously while loudly humming the ' Mission Impossible' theme.
12. October 6: In the auto department, he practiced his 'Madonna look' by using different sizes of funnels.
13. October 18: Hid in a clothing rack and when people browsed through, yelled 'PICK ME! PICK ME!'
14. October 21: When an announcement came over the loud speaker, he assumed a fetal position and screamed 'OH NO! IT'S THOSE VOICES AGAIN!'
And last, but not least .
15. October 23: Went into a fitting room, shut the door, waited awhile, then yelled very loudly, 'Hey! There's no toilet paper in here!'

Regards,
Tom Richards

TRUNK OR TREATING AT CC2

It has been a minute since I hae posted and soooo much has gone on. Jake and I love to do a ton of things during the holiday's with our girls.Sometimes a little too much, but hey it creates tons of emories and we get to hang with family and friends.

About a week ago we went to CC2's trunck or treat party and we had a great time. Jake set up the back of the Explorer with cob webs and black tarp. He had a smoke machine but that did not work :(. I have never seen him so excited to decorate. The girls got to do the cake walk, get some face painting and they got Cutest fairies costume...

Grandpa and Natalia got to had out candy together while Grandma took the other 2 girls to each car to get very much un-needed candy. They loved it though. Jessica kept going around and around till there was no more candy.
