More from the beach

I got to hang with these cute guys. If was funny because the girls tucked them in and they were playing baby.
Jake helped out a friend and rode the bike to Ryan's because he got it impounded. I think Jake was more excited than a fat kid with cake. But seriously, he looks HOT on this bike!
Bren says this is how he landed Rachel!
Family works together!
I'm so not good at keeping up with this blog being in order from summer fun. Here is more from the beach that I found.

Long day

With the girls in school now, Jake is my little buddy. I had so much to get ready for pictures on Saturday and he was a champ with all the stops I had to do. Friday night I had a parent team meeting for AYSO, it was long and I was tired but I want to help out. When I got home Jake was asleep, I swear the man is talented with how he can fall asleep in so many places. After I took the picture I got worried because I wasn't sure he was breathing. lol Thanks to my fabulous sistas the colors suggested for my photos were great and the girls hair came out adorable. Hannah was our photographer and I love her photos that she takes. She took our photo about 6 years ago in Big Bear and it was just a random shot but my favorite photo. She captured our lives for what it was then. Wes and Jake met at work and we have kept in contact ever since. Wes actually works with my brother! The family is amazing!!! Every time we get together I leave with tears in my eyes from laughing. The kids loved going back to their house and checking out all the animals. They found it hilarious that the one pig they have is called Oprah.
Im very grateful for this family, for the love and laughs we have with them. The Sons family is one of a kind and I look forward to more get togethers with them.

Back to school

The day before school started Lauren invited us to the pool. Very much needed break and it's great to just enjoy the company. I had to run last minute errands to get ready. I was not prepared! I had a soccer practice and a dinner meeting with friends later that night. Busy busy busy! Jake took the day off in the morning and my inlaws came to see the kids go to school. It was an okay start but baby Jake was CRANKY, he is not use to waking up early from summer vacation. I kept telling myself that I would get them in the routine of going to be early and waking up but we were so busy with family and vacations that it just didn't work out. The kids seem pretty happy with their teachers and today my little buddy seemed a lot happier.

Confrence

I got permission to take this photo, okay I lied but no one will ever know. lol
A long time ago a friend told me that Stake Conference was the "Get out of Church" pass day. I tried to follow that advice, I mean, it was the cool thing to do (Just kidding). But NOOOOO Cindy had to give a talk that day and we needed to be there. Jake said when his mom gave him a hug the night before he had a feeling she was getting a calling. Haha in the wise words of Gina Wood house "that's a crack up!" My mother in-law is now the Stake Relief Society President! Say that 10 times fast! Her talk was amazing and I tried to contain the tears, she is the most giving person that cares for others ALL the time. She needs an award or tons of chocolate!
Gina was in town and we took some photos while waiting for Cindy to get set apart. When we were leaving I noticed someone vandalized my car, I won't say any names (cough) Rachel. It made my day and had me laughing. What does 50 shades mean? I have no clue! lol

Start of vacation.

It's always nice hanging with these wonderful ladies. Pool day at Jen's was great, the kids paired up and went to town. I crack up with Cole and Jake, those two working together is awesome.
Mission TP Laurel's was in full effect. I think it is so fun doing this to friends on their birthday. Kendall kept coming out of her house for what I don't know so we had to duck and hide. How old are we you might think,,,,,,well old enough to by TP hahahaha
Family finally got in town and it was a party, I love the Vincents! The kids were supper excited to see the family, they really have great hearts and are so nice to my kids. I have had my guard up so much just due to the way some family has been coming at my children and it's a breath of fresh air when you see others genuinely care and love them. The night was celebrated with a birthday celebration for Cindy and catching up.

Ventura County Fair

shhhhh, yes I read these books. And I would read them again...hahaha
I received several text messages about this picture. Some how my face is on the side of a ride. Fun times!
I was so excited to go the the fair this year. Hunter Hayes was singing and Laura and I were all giggles about it. My mom, sister and Kelsey came down to go. It didn't work out the way I wanted it to but all that mattered was I that I got to make memories. Hunter Hayes was okay in concert, he was bouncing around like he was on crack, made me tired to watch. We ate like there was no other, I think I had corn on the cobb, pretzel, and a corn dog that was HUGE. I feel Fat! Joe and Amanda showed up and we got to do a bunch of rides with them. Cindy and Jen joined us and we watched the kids bounce around in excitement with all that is going around. My mom I found out got hypnotized, it would of been fun to see but ya know I wasn't invited hahaha whats new! Laura was my buddy for the night and I have to say what a great person, she is so easy to talk to and I love her presence. The kids call her Aunt Lola :)
