Baby Jakes birthday and stuff

I cannot believe that my son is 4! I don't like this growing up stuff with him. In the morning the girls and I sang to him then got our morning started. He wanted Starbucks so we got his favorite hot chocolate and then headed to the dentist for Talia. I needed to go meet friends up in Lancaster for school stuff and thank goodness for my friend Laura who gave us a ton of tokens for the games I would of had a hard time with the kids. The tokens kept them pretty busy for a while, when the tokens ran out they were on me. Afterward we met up with the Andersons for some park time, the kids loved it.
Cindy last week told me to come over for dinner and to have the kids act out the nativity story. The kids were squirmy but it went well. Jake got to play Joseph and he rocked his part! haha

Sweet 16

Alyssa is 16! Time flys by so quickly and its amazing to see how all these kids grow up. Today was Alyssa's sweet 16 party and of course it was super fun. It was Alice in Wonderland themed, everything was perfect. Aunt Vicki pulled the big guns out for this one. The decorations where amazing and neatly put thru out the house. There was a projector playing the movie Alice in Wonderland on the side of the house, a DJ, strobe lights, hanging lanterns, photo booth, bounce house and the list goes on and one. I look forward to any party they have, this family is always a fun time.

Engagement

Diana and Kelsey came to town! For the past month my sister had been keeping a secret from Kelsey and it was to be revealed at Disneyland. My sister called me a while back to tell me that she wanted to marry Kelsey and if I would be her maid of honor. I of course said yes and then needed the details on how she was going to do it, when and what does the ring look like. She told me that Kelsey loved Disneyland and would make a wish by the wishing well and that that is where my sister wanted to do it. Kelsey had no clue, she was signed up to run the Santa Clarita race and that is why they were coming down. Her parents were in on it and were going to meet us at Disneyland. I got my teacher to clear me so that I can miss a clinic day, so I decided to take the kids with me.
Diana was nervous but did great, Kelsey was in shock and when her parents came out she was in tears. Her parents are so welcoming and I am grateful for them, they were so kind to the kids and friendly. We had a great time at Disneyland and I'm so happy that I got to be a part of this day.

Field trip/ Friendsgiving

The turtle in the pond is very popular this year. I added a caption to this :

First we had a field trip to the local fire station and the kids loved it. So much to see and touch! Rachel had to work that day so I got to hang with the double mint twins, these two boys crack me up. Their conversations and how they just laugh makes me smile.
Friendsgiving was super fun and very much needed. It reminds me of when I was a kid and how we would go to my aunts and uncles houses and run around the apple orchard while food was cooking and the adults were watching some sport, playing cards and having family time. My kids were in heaven! Rachels mom and dad are super welcoming and you feel like family, very grateful for them. Food was perfect and so was the company. I was cracking up watching Sophia chasing Cole giving him kisses and watching Cody's face turn red chasing his daughter. Or Talia and Ryan getting cozy on the chair, cuddled in a blanket watching movies. These families are making so many memories that we last a lifetime!

Graduation

Since I live so far from my school I can't always go to the fundraisers so I thought, why not contribute all at once and help with graduation fundraising? So I helped make Christmas bulbs and wine glasses to sell at the graduation. They were a pain to make but they came out so good! We made great profit and I was able to help out with the festivities.
I got to bring Kaelyn to help with the sales and set up. Jessica was home sick so she couldn't come! Kealyn was such a great helper and I really loved having her there. I feel showing my children what hard work is and letting them see who Im with when Im in school is important. I hope that one day she will be able to do these things with her children.
Watching the graduates walk the stage was a great feeling, I cannot wait to be on that stage in June and reaching that light at the end of the tunnel. Keep me in your prayers!
