When I was little my dad had a stick that had his kids names on it and if you got in trouble he would tell you to get the spanking stick. ouch!
As a joke my dad got a long wooden spoon and on it there is my girls names. So when the girls act up he says "where's the spanking stick?" They run around and laugh he chases them around the house.

That's hilarious. My mom had an old one, barely hit my brother one night and it broke in half with us still laughing and running down the hall...
