End of school....

Where did that year go? Today was the last day of school and I feel like I just blinked my eyes and it's June 15th. I have to say that this year was amazing, I met some really great woman that have made a huge impact on my life as well as my children. It's funny because I would enjoy their stories and text pictures of Kaelyn in class. It's wonderful to meet moms that have the same mind thought as I have..."I need to let Fran know that Kaelyn's birthday is going to be at Disneyland and everyone is invited." I didn't get to volunteer as much as I wanted to this year but I was happy that the friends I have were there to help and touch those little kids lives.
Yesterday there was a picnic for the Kindergartners and I was able to go with baby Jake to participate in the fun. The kids got to play a ton of games and eat pizza. Baby Jake cried for like an hour (okay 5mins) because he wanted his slice of pizza right now.
I'm impressed with how much my children have grown and the progress in school. Next year I will have a 1st and 3rd grader and this mama bear is freaking out with how fast they are growing.

Disneyland with some awesome friends

Yes, a disneyland trip!!!! My friend Nikki had to go to Disneyland for work and asked if we could tag along...OF COURSE! We had so much fun, the kids didn't know what was going on till I got on the freeway and could see they were a bit confused because I was not headed to school. We went on so many rides we typically can't go on due to little kids. Today there were no diaper bags, strollers or hassles. It was HEAVEN! We didn't wait long for rides and Kaelyn was able to finally get her Jedi certification haha. She was nervous but she didn't it and I was so proud.

End of year Kindergarten program

Today was Kaelyn's Kindergarten end of year program. She was so excited this morning, normally it takes her forever to get out of bed but today I said "Time for get ready for the program" and she jumped  out of her be with smiles. They all did so great and Kaelyn had a part : "Another favorite song reminds us that America's made for us." Yes I typed that without having to look at the paper, when she memorizes something so do I. She has come a long way, in the beginning of the year she was going to speech classes and today she said her sentence in a very clear and loud manner. PROUD MAMA! Russ, Cindy and grandpa came along to cheer her on and of course Talia and baby Jake came for the event.

Stressed out!!!!!

I swear, from all the schooling I've done on the body and it's chemical reactions you would think I would know. I've have been feeling not myself for a while now and my mind has been wandering in places that it should not go. Things I've learned are that counting to 10 helps, locking myself in my room when Jake gets home is okay, admitting that I need help at times is not bad, Don't take it out on Jake all the time, and NEVER google your symptoms. haha
The doctor has determined after several exams and tests that I have HIGH stress. I have been waking up with anxiety and wanting to cry all the time because I think something is wrong with me. Jake has been working a lot, family has been going out of their way to be mean to me and the kids have been a bit hard to handle. I guess with all of that my body has said finally "you need to relax." I seriously don't even know how to do it. For the longest time I've not kept a journal because I noticed that I was writing things that made me angry and I felt that was not healthy but I started back with writing in it. I feel my kids need to know one day what is going on, they are too little right now to know what is making me go crazy and I feel if I write it out then I can put it behind me.

Route 66 car show

Summer is here and the classic car show at Route 66 is back. Jake loves going to these shows and gawking over these old cars. We invited along Jakes parents and Grandfather to check out some of these old beauties. It was fun hearing stories about how Jakes grandpa had some of these cars. Jake has a Mercury Cougar that needs to get fixed up and I want more than anything for him to have it, we might need to get it to the house and make it a family project soon. The kids were making me paranoid when they would get too close to some of the cars. Kaelyn said that the purple car she saw was her favorite because it had a flag, ha, she knows as much as I do about cars.

Grandpa the Great!

That's right, Grandpa is a magician! haha I get a kick out of the tricks he does for the kids and how he includes them in his act. Baby Jake even got to wave the wand while the girls said the magic words, after a while he was beating the cup with the wand and his minutes of being an apprentice were short lived.

All in a days work!

What a busy day! I must be crazy with how much I did today with the kids but it was fun. After school I was invited to take the kids swimming at a friends, they had a blast and I'm grateful for the invite. My kids love having friends and play time anytime is a great time. After swimming I had to rush home to get Jessica ready for Activity Day, she was nervous but her friend Mckenna was going to it eased the anxiety of it all. They made purses and had treats, I think those are defiantly two of Jessica's favorite things to do. Kaelyn and Talia were lost with Jessica gone so when we had to pick them up they were excited knock on the door to get her.
We had an hour to kill and then back to school night was our next adventure. Oh, did I mention Jake had to work late, yes I was stressed. My inlaws came with Grandpa Speed and it was help very much appreciated. We got to see all the kids cool projects and hit up the crazy packed book fair. I had to chuckle at one of Jessica's art exhibits, it was a project on an ancestor. The project was on my grandfather but after looking at the paper doll it kinda looks like Hitler lol oh boy!
